I am a licensed clinical social worker who has a passion for helping those of us who suffer with mental health issues. I have worked with people from all walks of life and with all mental health disorders. My whole goal as a therapist is to teach you the skills necessary to manage your mental health condition so that you can become empowered to lead the life that you desire. Essentially, it is my job to put myself out of business by teaching you the tools that will help you to no longer need a therapist.
During our first session, I will explore what brought you to treatment, the history of what you have been experiencing, contributing factors, and what strengths you have that may assist you in leading a more stable life.
I am an excellent listener who has a talent to explain complicated issues and approaches in an understandable and easily applicable way. I meet my clients where they are at, providing tailored therapy that they will be interested in participating in.
