I have worked in addiction treatment for more than a decade. Addiction is a complicated problem and usually the surface issue of deeper problems. Treating the problems that led to the behavior is essential.
As the under-lying issues are different for everyone, so is the treatment.
I have used talk therapy, exercise, mindfulness and diet, a holistic approach, along with the help of my wife, who has been in medicine for 30 years, to help the whole person. We will talk in nature, move in our bodies, create opportunities for connection in the greater community.
I have been on my recovery journey for more than 35 years and look forward to sharing my experience to help others find the better, more fulfilling, clean and sober life.
