Hi! I'm Jason, a licensed psychotherapist and clinical substance abuse counselor. My path to being a psychotherapist wasn't a straight line. Over 20 years in the Marine Corps and later, civil service, taught me a lot about behavior, survival, and the ripple effects those moments have throughout life. Reaching out is hard, and when you do, it's admirable. It's scary. But it doesn't have to be. And you don't have to do this alone. That's so cliché, but it's the real experience of being human.
My primary approach is neurosomatic psychotherapy. Therapy here tends to involve the whole person: body, brain, and nervous system, not just talk and written work. I specialize in trauma, anxiety, and mood disorders, with experience across a broad range of other concerns. Every client is different, and we'll build a treatment plan around what works for you.
All my years of life and work can be condensed to this truth: Some of the most beautiful souls I've met have been the most broken when I met them. You're neither a diagnosis nor a problem. Through the Fray is a therapy group for all adults carrying the weight of trauma. You won't be asked to tell your story or explain what happened. Trauma lives in the body as much as the mind, so this group works with both. Through guided practice and simply being with others who are regulated and present, your nervous system learns safety again, often before words catch up. There's no assumption about where you are in healing. You belong whether you're in the thick of it or somewhere in between. Insurance accepted. All are welcome.

The More is a women's-only group dedicated to shared felt sense: gathering, reflection, validation, and the chance to be heard by other women who understand without explanation. While this is not a trauma-processing group, we gather each week to explore concepts unique to trauma, trauma response, and recovery, and to exist together in that shared space. We hope for healing, resilience, and maybe even a growing belief that there's more to your life than what trauma might have you believe. There are no requirements to attend. Every woman is welcome. Insurance is accepted.
