Trauma, chronic shame, guilt, and grief can be hard to name, let alone talk about — and the negative beliefs they leave behind have a way of quietly shaping your relationships, your self-esteem, and your work. I see how much courage it takes to bring these things into a room, and I offer a non-judgmental, safe space where you can do that at your own pace. I work with clients on trauma and PTSD, sex therapy, career and work issues, grief and loss, racial and cultural identity, and relationship problems. My style is interactive, with emotional support, active listening, and honest clinical insight and alternative perspectives.
For trauma and long-standing negative belief systems, I use EMDR therapy, along with other clinical approaches suited to your specific needs. I'm certified in both career and grief counseling, and I have extensive experience with clients from diverse cultures, ethnicities, and sexual orientations.
As an Asian American therapist, I bring cultural insight and sensitivity to the identity struggles and multi-generational conflicts many AAPI immigrants and their families face. I enjoy getting to know my clients, understanding what they need, and building a therapeutic relationship that supports their healing and growth. Please ask for a free consultation.
