I have over 39 years of broad and rich experience in mental health. Anxiety, mood disorders and personality disorders are particular areas of specialization for me. I am a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, a Certified Sex Therapy Informed Provider and specialize also in treatment of Personality Disorders. Using Cognitive Behavioral and Mindfulness technique my clients achieve rapid results through exploration of how their thoughts effect their emotional experiences. I work with individuals and couples. I am also a Board Certified-Telemental Health Provider and a qualified supervisor for purposes of licensure.
I value being compassionate, relaxed and respectful in my interactions with clients and supervisees. I enjoy helping people learn to think differently about the things they are struggling with. I see myself as an experienced, well-trained collaborator rather the expert of my clients' lives. I also offer life, relationship and career coaching.
My practice is strictly TeleMental Health which research supports as equally effective as in person therapy. Humor is an important therapeutic tool in my work and I draw liberally from my hobbies and life experiences which include baking, archery, travel and multicultural learning as well as cabinetry and DIY projects.
