At my core, I am a relational therapist and do my best work with couples, non-monogamous romantic partnerships, and families of all forms, including co-parents who are no longer in romantic partnerships. I believe that systemic therapy is a way to create meaningful change and get unstuck from the patterns that no longer serve us.

Healing can be a beautiful process, both physically and mentally. It can bring relief from pain, restore functionality, and promote a sense of well-being. It can also offer an opportunity for personal growth and self-discovery. I specialize in a holistic approach to anxiety, trauma, and behavior modification through mind and body. The philosophy of trauma-informed counseling is based on the understanding that individuals who have experienced trauma require specialized care and support. I acknowledge the impact of trauma on my clients' lives and work collaboratively with them to identify and address their individual needs and goals.

Online therapy for Washington residents; in-person available in Wenatchee, WA. I specialize in working with young adults experiencing Anxiety disorders and OCD. Because anxiety rarely exists in isolation, I also support clients struggling with depression, ADHD, stress, relationship concerns, and life transitions. Many of my clients describe themselves as people-pleasers who have difficulty setting boundaries, tend to overthink or second-guess themselves, struggle to slow down and rest, or feel like they have to get everything "just right." My approach integrates ERP, CBT, and Mindfulness.

I utilize an integrative approach, combining evidence-based interventions—including CBT, DBT, ACT, and ERP—with a person-in-environment, humanistic lens.
You may feel stuck in patterns of overthinking, doubt, or shame. Maybe uncertainty feels intolerable, or you feel caught in a cycle of rumination or compulsions. When we are left alone with our thoughts, they can feel all-consuming and even threatening. If this sounds familiar, things don’t have to stay this way. My work prioritizes authenticity, empathy, and empowerment. I believe in the importance of a therapeutic alliance that feels safe, collaborative, and tailored to your goals. Growth is a lifelong process, and I am committed to supporting you at every stage.

My ideal clients are adolescents and adults navigating the messy realities of anxiety, depression, trauma, and major life transitions. Often, they come to me when life feels a bit too heavy, stress is winning, or they are just plain tired of feeling stuck. Many are individuals from diverse backgrounds, particularly Black clients, who are looking for a therapist who actually gets it, values identity, and won't require them to code-switch just to process their week. They are ready to do the work but want a space that feels less like a sterile clinical exam and more like an authentic, collaborative partnership.

Now accepting insurance. You may be sensing what feels like instability; you might feel more anxious, restless, or checked‑out than you used to, even if your life looks “fine” on paper, like your current way of working, relating, or coping isn’t sustainable. It could be you’re craving a more congruent way to live amidst burnout that doesn’t require burning everything down. There is a way forward.

Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapists
How does acceptance and commitment therapy work?
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy encourages a person to listen to their self-talk. A person’s inner dialog can be indicative of how they treat themselves. ACT also encourages self-compassion; this can lead to a better understanding of negative thought patterns and emotional states. This understanding can then lead the individual to needed behavior change.

What are the goals of acceptance and commitment therapy?
The goal of acceptance and commitment is to expand a person’s psychological flexibility, a trait that encourages an individual to live in the present moment and to accept all their thoughts, feelings, and emotions, even ones that are difficult such as sadness and anxiety. In ACT, this acceptance is congruent with the individual’s values and beliefs.

Does acceptance and commitment therapy work for depression?
Acceptance and commitment therapy is effective for depression because it allows the individual to view their discomfort and suffering differently. Depressive feelings about relationship heartaches, for example, are a part of life. A despondent person learns to let go of their struggles and instead view their painful thoughts and feelings with compassion. This will lead the individual toward positive change.

How long are people typically in acceptance and commitment therapy?
A typical acceptance and commitment therapy session is 50 minutes long with one session per week. Treatment for common problems such as anxiety, depression, or relationship difficulties can last between eight weeks to four months. However, more severe cases may require more than one session a week and/or a longer time frame for treatment.
