Change is rarely easy. We live in a complex, dynamic world that is ever changing, and the stress it brings affects each of us differently. Dealing with anxiety, depressed mood, difficulty sleeping or struggles in work, relationships and activities, no one has to go it alone to find a path towards healthier and happier.

CURRENT limited openings. Anxiety, depression , self doubt, and daily stress can be so pervasive. Does the stress of daily life feel anxiety provoking and overwhelming? Are your job, relationships or friendships feeling stressful? Perhaps feeling stuck or unsettled is becoming a daily reality. It may feel like it's getting harder to thrive and telling people “no” feels hard or unmanageable. You may feel like you are alone, isolated and that you can’t talk with the people in your life about these issues. I want to help you figure some of this out, to learn to love and thrive in life again.

I help people whose trauma, anxiety, and depression take over at the worst possible moments. Viktor Frankl wrote, "Between stimulus and response is a space" and that in that space we find "our growth and our freedom." I can help you find that space by guiding you in the process of discovering new insights and strategies.

A prism is a shape with a refracting surface that separates white light into a spectrum of colors. I believe that an individual's perspective is their reality, and therapy is about understanding all the colors that make up you as a human being, and accepting yourself! I enjoy working with adults experiencing identity issues, those coping with neurodivergence, as well as mood disorders like anxiety and depression . Additionally, I love to work with clients on relational issues, whether individually, with couples, or with families; among many other things. Let’s get to know each other and create a plan to improve your way of living!

My present focus is working with adults struggling with anxiety and depression , past traumatic events or are currently experiencing an abundance of life stressors.
It is in relationships that we experience healing and change. My goal is to provide a warm, non-judgmental space where you can feel understood, valued, and supported as we journey together in the work that you have decided to do. Taking the first step to reach out and ask for help can be difficult and finding the right person you can trust is crucial to improved mental wellness.

I have experience with various concerns such as adjustment difficulties, anxiety, and depression .
Recognizing the need for change in your life can feel daunting. Therapy allows for a safe, supportive space wherein creating positive change is the focus. Although the path to wellness and healing is often filled with twists and turns, you do not need to walk this path alone. Therapy is at its core an authentic encounter between two humans with inherent worth, capacity for insight, and tendency for growth. My goal is to join you as a fellow traveler and walk alongside you as we work together to identify strengths, pockets of joy, and rich meaning in your life.

Depression Therapists
Depressive disorders are characterized by persistent feelings of sadness and worthlessness and a lack of desire to engage in formerly pleasurable activities. Depression is not a passing blue mood, which almost everyone experiences from time to time, but a complex mind/body illness that interferes with everyday functioning. It not only darkens one's outlook, it is commonly marked by sleep problems and changes in energy levels and appetite. It alters the structure and function of nerve cells so that it disrupts the way the brain processes information and interprets experience.

Despite feelings of hopelessness and worthlessness, depression is a treatable condition. It can be treated with psychotherapy. As with many illnesses, the earlier treatment begins, the more effective it can be and the greater the likelihood that recurrence can be prevented.

Psychotherapy addresses the thinking patterns that precipitate depression, and studies show that it prevents recurrence. Drug therapy is often helpful in relieving symptoms, such as severe anxiety, so that people can engage in meaningful psychotherapy.
