Sometimes, life can be stressful, and we don't always know how to handle it. Many of us have also encountered past hardships or traumatic events that feel impossible to move on from. If that is something you relate with, I can help. Using a client-centered approach, I provide a place where you can share about your struggles and learn coping skills in order to overcome the stress you might be facing. If you are having relationship problems, dealing with anger, feeling anxious, depressed, or having a difficult time managing past trauma, I want to provide a non-judgmental and safe space where you can process through your experience.

My formal training includes MA in Professional Counseling, EMDRIA approved EMDR training, Gottman Couples Counseling Levels 1 & 2; and I am a Certified Life Languages trainer and a Genesis Relapse Prevention Counselor.
If you feel fearful of who to share your struggles with - you are not alone in that fear. This is common, and unfortunately a barrier for many to take the first step and receive healing. I want to create a safe space for you, to share your story. I will help you identify the source of your pain, if that is not clear, and walk through the healing journey with you. There is always hope, and many directions to take to get healing and freedom. I've received much healing, through counseling and want to see others receive the same.

** Therapies like CBT and EMDR are not strictly behavior-analytic in nature and are not covered by my BACB credential.
As a mental health counselor my goal is to help clients look at life’s challenges with a different perspective. Some people may feel like what they’re doing worked in the past but don’t understand why it is not working now. My job is to help adults, children, and families to take a look at these struggles through a different lens and learn some new ways of tackling them. My passion is to help clients feel more empowered and know what to do when faced with difficult behavior, anxiety, or struggles handling strong emotions.

Through different therapies ( EMDR , Narrative Therapy, CBT, etc) we will address that trauma together in a safe and healing way.
Please know that my caseload and waitlist is currently full and unfortunately I am not accepting new clients right now. I operate my own private practice and specialize in working with teens, adults, and families by helping parents with their children, and helping adults work through their trauma. I offer a holistic and personalized approach to healing through my training in Parts and Memory Therapy, EMDR , DBT, CBT, Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness, and Yoga.
I provide therapy not only because I strive to support others, but because I believe therapy works. I admire the vulnerability and strength that go into the healing process. I know you have within you what it takes to heal, but that doesn't mean you have to do it alone. Through therapy, I hope you feel renewed, motivated, confident, and safe enough in your thoughts and body to fully engage in life. My clients are seeking out therapy for relief from their trauma, eating disorders, anxiety, depression, and/or anger.

I view people as the experts in their own lives & powerful agents in change. Whether you are struggling with your relationships, motivation or mood, I can help. You don’t have to do it alone. Left untreated they continue to impact our lives. I can assist you in gaining a better understanding of yourself & your needs with compassion, humor, and clinical knowledge. My goal is to assist you in gaining confidence, insight, and build resilience in your own life.

EMDR Therapists
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is an information processing therapy that helps clients cope with trauma, addictions, and phobias. During this treatment, the patient focuses on a specific thought, image, emotion, or sensation while simultaneously watching the therapist's finger or baton move in front of his or her eyes. The client is told to recognize what comes up for him/her when thinking of an image; then the client is told to let it go while doing bilateral stimulation.
