Lucy Banic, LMHCA, was initially trained and educated in British Columbia, Canada, and has been a mental health counselor in Washington state since 2017. She earned her BA in Psychology from Simon Fraser University in 2010, and then her MA in Clinical Counseling at City University, Seattle, Washington, in 2014. Lucy has received advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) through Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress, as well as has experience in using components of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), narrative therapy, emotion-focused, and expressive art therapy techniques.
