About
We all face grief, loss, betrayals, and transitions either through difficulties such as death, divorce, infertility, or other disappointments. For some, these experiences can create spiritual woundedness, depression, anxiety, or a dip in self-esteem, especially if there is a lack of family or community support. Working through these things can be hard but for the client who is willing to tackle their loss, there is also hope. I partner with my clients to help them discover their own innate wisdom that resides within their souls to help bring about reconciliation and healing.
Together, we can determine where you want to be and how to get there. At your pace, we will work through what keeps you stuck by discovering and exploring options to healing and finding a greater sense of joy. If you are struggling with infertility, I can help you find your sense of purpose in the midst of your journey.
I offer a safe and nurturing environment that allows clients the freedom to explore their current situation with honesty and hope. My work includes integrity and compassion in the process of building resilience and creating tools that can be used both now and in the future.

Shelly Johnson-Choong's Groups
Latter-day Saint Women and Infertility
If you're a woman in the Church or Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and you're not a mother, just getting through Sunday can be tough. I facilitate a ten-week group for Latter-day Saint women who are working through infertility. Within the group we offer support, psychoeducation, and connection with other LDS women who are going through the same experience. We address issues such as identity, stigma, isolation, shame, and the search for purpose and meaning among others. Please, get in touch with me to learn more. And please know, you're not alone.
