She utilizes techniques such as EMDR, Somatic, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Family Systems to fit your needs.
I am accepting new adult clients! Are you feeling emotional distress? Are you having difficulty sleeping? Do you struggle with negative beliefs about yourself? Do you feel lost and wonder if you will ever feel like yourself again? Do you feel stuck? Are you having difficulty concentrating in normal everyday life or have put the things that matter to you aside? Do your friends or family care, but don't know what to do? People find me when their old coping strategies stop working.

My approaches are based on EMDR, IFS, and Somatic Experiencing.
I help women who are carrying burdens from their original family, constantly dealing with internal criticism, overthinking, experiencing anxiety and depression, and trauma to break free from unhealthy patterns, and be able to increase their capacity to cope and live with self-compassion.   If you experience emotional, verbal, or sexual abuse, have trouble with setting boundaries, tend to people pleased, are afraid to make mistakes, feeling overwhelmed, I would like to work with you.  I help clients who struggle like you do to heal and be able to live their full potential.

My approach is experiential, informed by Internal Family Systems, somatic psychology, polyvagal theory, and mindfulness practices.
Are you thrown off balance by unresolved fears, shame, anxiety or distress? Is your relationship with food and your body a source of stress that interrupts your ability to fully immerse yourself in the present moment, robbing you of connection with yourself and others? For many of us, our past collides with the present and we struggle to make sense of our lived experience. I am of the mind that the only way out is in. I welcome you to embark on a journey into yourself, where you may discover abandoned and rejected parts of yourself, and a wellspring of insight and self-compassion for your most difficult challenges.

I use a somatic, whole body approach in working with my clients.
Life is just getting too hard. The nightmares, the memories, the sleepless nights, the triggers, what do I do with it all? Will it always be this way for me? Trauma, CPTSD, and PTSD can feel overwhelming, frustrating and isolating. It's possible nobody around you understands, or they are telling you that you should "get over it", or that you should have been able to move on by now, and you want to. You want to be able to connect with people again, to feel safe in your environment and in your body. You want to feel better, and you want to thrive.

In Somatic therapy, we work holistically by becoming aware of thoughts, feelings and sensations as integrated aspects of being alive.
Hi there, I'm Lee. I help people transform stress, find physical and emotional peace, and discover what they're really needing and wanting in life... all by listening to their bodies! If you're tired of traditional talk therapy, and you want help working towards your goals, dealing with anxiety, burnout or other challenging life experiences, I'd love to connect and support you.

You may be feeling that the strands of your life are unraveling and you want to make sense of it all. My private practice, Tapestry Therapy, is founded upon the belief that your life is like a tapestry, consisting of strands of stories that have been woven together to make one larger story. Our story is part of the larger tapestry of our family, race, culture, country and world. Through the work of therapy, we come to understand our stories and be empowered to decide how we will write future chapters. I utilize process therapy and Lifespan Integration, which is a somatic therapy, to help my clients reach their goals.

My training includes: Somatic Experiencing, Janina Fisher’s Structural Dissociation Model, Pain Reprocessing Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, .
I believe in all people’s innate capacity to heal. To me, all symptoms that we experience whether it be chronic pain, anxiety, depression, panic attacks, etc can be explained by trauma. Trauma does not have to be big events. Trauma can be if we are not attuned to emotionally as children or if our parents have their own unprocessed trauma—this sort of trauma often leads to deep seeded beliefs that we are unloveable and bad. Our healing comes from teaching our parts that we are loveable and accepted just as we are.
