Life can bring about a number of painful and challenging experiences, often leaving us deeply impacted. While these moments can have a lasting effect on our relationships, therapy can help us find new ways of understanding our experiences and can help us rediscover our strengths as we move toward healing. Together, we can work to identify and meet your goals, and give you the resources to develop new insights.

How did things get this bad? You remember the early days of your relationship and all the love and laughter you shared. Now, it’s hard to even be in the same room with your partner without fighting. So, you’ve started to avoid each other. You take the long way home from work and run needless errands. You feel guilty about it, but at least if you’re apart, you’re not arguing. You’ve tried so many ways to repair things. Reading relationship self-help books, subscribing to marriage advice podcasts, you’ve even floated the idea of seeing a therapist. But every attempt at fixing things just seems to push your husband further away.

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapy Associate (LMFTA). What this means for our sessions is that I will provide a professional guiding hand for your individual, relationship, or family therapy journey. Your voice is extremely important and a vital piece of my practicing philosophy is that this will be a safe space for said voice to be uplifted through our work. Some of the theories we might concentrate on together are solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and experiential therapy. I also provide an affirming environment for queer, gender inclusive, and multiculturally competent care.

Are you at a crossroads? Throughout life, we experience "little deaths" that change our life’s course. Loss of a dream, health, family, the earth we stand on, job, marriage, relationship, country or beliefs can suddenly take us over a threshold, chosen or not into a new world where life no longer makes any sense. Our old tools and ways of coping or understanding our self or our world are no longer enough to pilot us to the other side of what can feel like a vast, deep and turbulent river. While often terrifying, these are the golden opportunities in which our true nature, our soul or purpose in life can be revealed.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist, my goal is not to blame anyone, but instead to challenge existing patterns.
Anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational conflict can weigh on us and interfere with our day-to-day functioning. Those of us who come to therapy are often needing someone to process experiences with so these problems don't rob us of joy. You deserve to have a space to process your experiences without judgment or simply being told what you want to hear. You deserve authenticity and compassion. If you are feeling overwhelmed with personal mental health challenges or relationship issues, I want to help you find peace and happiness.
