*Availability is currently limited.* You've overcome a lot already in your life . The people in your life consider you successful and admire how far you've come. You are a "pattern changer" in your family of origin. But you are ready for even more ease and joy. My clients are smart and successful and want to integrate deeper calm, clarity and courage into their lives. They have a lot of insight, but still struggle with making changes or feeling as good as they can. Let me help you to remember and accentuate your inner wisdom and resilience.

Pornography addiction can significantly impact your life and relationships but there is hope for recovery. I’m not just a mental health professional, I’ve been “you” for many years. I understand firsthand the personal struggles in your life and committed relationships that come with uncontrollable pornography use. The endless stream of attractive women a few clicks away on Pornhub, Onlyfans or Social Media is hard to quit even with all your willpower and promise to quit for the sake of your relationship.

Reaching out for help is certainly not easy, and whatever you are going through, I'm here to support. It is my goal to provide you tools to not only reduce the symptoms you and your loved ones may be experiencing, but also identify the root causes for long lasting change. As a relational therapist, the clients I support are families who are navigating the challenges of having tweens, teens, or young adults as well as couples who are struggling to communicate. I also love working with women who are navigating life transitions, experiencing symptoms of ADHD/anxiety, or are struggling in their relationships.

I've received feedback from clients that I am "easy to connect with"; and am good at developing treatment plans, "being a life coach", and providing hope and direction.
I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Child, Adolescent, and Family treatment from Seattle Pacific University (2008) and my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Gonzaga University (2001). I have been a Licensed Psychologist in WA since 2010, and I am paneled with most insurance carriers. I have practiced in a variety of settings, including university counseling centers, public school systems, inpatient psychiatric hospitals, and mental health agencies. I view my primary role as providing a safe and contained environment where individuals can gain stability, increase insights into themselves, and develop more positive coping strategies.

This time has been isolating and life alternating to say the least. Many of us are left with a feeling of overwhelm as we are separated from one another and cannot participate in the lifestyle routines that once helped us to feel grounded. I have been working with many clients this year to find a source of balance and inner peace when so much of the world has shut down and become unavailable to us. From anxiety, depression and Pandemic PTSD to low motivation and deflation. Feelings of isolation, loneliness and despondency are a few of the many issues I work with in my clients at the moment. Let me help you build your new world!

I also work with individuals who are seeking Wellness/ Life Coaching .
My practice leans toward working with clients who are living with the effects of trauma, struggling with anxiety, and/or those who are searching for a life with more meaning and purpose. For trauma survivors, areas of focus include: understanding what healing can mean for you, integrating nervous system relaxation techniques, improving relationships – with self and others, decreasing that inner critic, managing emotional flashbacks, incorporating self-compassion, and integrating self-healing resources. If you are living with anxiety or are hoping to create an emotionally balanced life , my primary platform is mindfulness.

If you’re struggling to clarify your life vision, or to find peace with your past, I will help you to dissolve the limiting beliefs that hold you back.
I specialize in uncovering the subconscious beliefs that dictate and shape your thoughts, feelings, behaviors. We all have subconscious blueprints that unconsciously construct our beliefs about ourselves, others, and the world around us. These blueprints directly control how we think, feel, and act. Thus, your potential to experience happiness, purpose, and loving relationships can only be accomplished by identifying and then re-writing these subconscious narratives. Do you want to learn what’s holding you back from living life fully? I am here to help you reach your greatest potential.

Are you feeling stuck? What's getting in the way of living a satisfying life , one with heart and meaning? You may be coming to therapy because of a new development or something very old, you may not even know what it is. You may also be adding to your burden by judging your self unfairly. But there is hope, therapy can usher in exciting transformation. When we can embrace the gifts that come with challenges, old fears lose their power. I deeply enjoy helping clients explore/work through difficulties with the purpose of breaking old patterns and intentionally creating a new path forward. Healing and growth is possible for you too.

Life Coaching Therapists

What can I expect from life coaching?

Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.

Can a life coach help treat anxiety?

Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.

Can life coaching be done online?

Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.

How long does life coaching last?

Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
