We will explore your own “inner dialogue” and/or “parts,” as well as important narratives (aka the stories you tell yourself about yourself and the world around you). I encourage your evaluation, adaptation and/or complete overhaul of these sometimes unhelpful thoughts and stories in favor of newer, healthier, and more useful ones that we develop together!

Do you feel stuck? Are you feeling numb, unable to find happiness in the things that once brought you joy? When we're struggling, it can spill out onto our relationships, showing up in ways that create more issues. In our efforts to make change, we may try to solve them by reading self-help books or talking to our closest friends, only to find the problem is still a problem. That’s where I can help. Together we’ll identify goals and collaborate on a treatment plan. The beginning of any journey or change begins with acceptance, the proper treatment, and a healthier relationship and connection with ourselves and the world around us.

As a National Certified Counselor, I will explore your concerns and assist you in uncovering deeper issues that might be hindering or influencing your relationships and your worldview. Given the unique challenges that each person encounters, which demand subtle and distinct methods of intervention, I trained in both contemporary research-based therapies, as well as traditional techniques (Psychodynamics), so I can offer a variety of tools. “Forces beyond your control can take away everything you possess except one thing, your freedom to choose how you will respond to the situation.” -- Dr. Viktor Frankl (founder of Logotherapy).

I am a bilingual (English/Spanish) therapist and first-generation immigrant who deeply believes in hope—the kind that keeps playing like music even when we cannot hear it. I believe in each person’s innate ability to find peace within themselves and in their relationships. I am passionate about the ripple effect of healing and how it can be passed from one generation to the next. I recognize that the world does not always make space for us to fully be who we are. In therapy, I enjoy walking alongside my clients as they explore who they are to themselves, who they are seen as, and who they are becoming.

Experiencing trauma, stress, anxiety, life transitions, or depression can feel overwhelming and isolating. Taking this first step toward seeking support is an act of courage, and I deeply honor the strength it takes to begin this journey. Healing is not about having all the answers; it’s about showing up for yourself, one step at a time. Together, we can explore your story, gently work through emotions, and create a path toward greater peace and fulfillment. My own journey of navigating two cultures, born in Mexico and raised in Washington State, shaped my passion for helping others feel seen, understood, and supported.

I am proud to be a bicultural Spanish speaker and have extensive experience working with Latino and immigrant populations.
Do you wonder why you always seem to run into the same problems in relationships? Do you feel like you have it together in other areas but tend to struggle when it comes to your love life? Some common problems are: feeling like you struggle to get the love you deserve, feeling smothered or suffocated, chronic conflict like arguing and yelling that never seem to resolve, or a sense of distance and coldness in the relationship. Whether you're seeking support as a couple, single, or partnered individual, I can help you understand and change your relationship patterns.

A client may feel most connected to people who appear capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed or exhausted internally. They may be carrying anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, or the impact of past experiences and want relief, clarity, and steadiness. Often, they’re looking for a space where they can be honest, feel supported, and not have to navigate things alone.

Success, Yet Unseen: You've built a life others envy—the career, the achievements, the non-stop drive—but beneath that success, you feel exhausted, isolated, and trapped by the pressure to perform. The truth is, your need to constantly achieve is often anchored to a past of moderate to severe trauma (loss, pressure, abuse). You worry: If I stop performing, who am I? The conventional methods haven't worked because they treat the mind as separate from the body and relationships. You're not looking for a temporary fix; you're looking for profound, systemic change. You know too much to settle for less. It's time to break the cycle.

I work with clients from a strengths-based perspective, focusing on resilience development and a collaborative process. I take into consideration where the child or adolescent is truly at and what is going to best engage them—be it artistic expression, play therapy, narrative therapy, creative writing/journaling, or more structured interventions. I focus on the fulfilled development of the whole individual, taking into account a systems approach, intersectionality, and developmental psychology. My approach is deeply rooted in attachment theory; focusing on developing a healthy bond to better facilitate trust and overall growth.

You might be here because you struggle with a new diagnosis of ADHD in adulthood, maybe you can’t imagine a life without anxiety and find you question yourself, maybe you have had a difficult time understanding what you feel because things feel overwhelming. I often work with clients who experience the world deeply and find themselves feeling emotionally lonely. I work with folks to love these parts of themselves and lean into their authentic, wonderful selves.

Hispanic and Latino Therapists
What makes a Hispanic and Latino therapist effective?
An effective Hispanic and Latino therapist can combine a culturally sensitive lens with proven therapies, such as Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). They may have an understanding of cultural attitudes to therapy, including potential stigma, and can help a client navigate those concerns. Some clients may also appreciate a therapist who is bilingual and is comfortable conversing with the client in both English and Spanish. Languages spoken are indicated on a therapist’s directory profile.

Why is it important for a therapist to be culturally sensitive?
A culturally sensitive therapist is respectful and considerate of all groups, and may have specific expertise with individuals of a certain ethnicity. These considerations can help a client feel understood and can improve the therapeutic alliance. While some people think highlighting race and ethnicity could promote stereotypes and bias, most agree that knowledge about cultural differences enhances the alliance between therapist and client.

How can I recognize a therapist who has expertise working with Hispanic and Latino clients?
Successful therapy depends a great deal on the relationship between client and therapist. Start by asking the therapist about their overall approach to therapy. You may then wish to ask about the therapist’s educational background and any additional training in cultural sensitivity that they have undertaken.

How might I inquire about a therapist's experience with Hispanic and Latino clients?
Ask a potential therapist whether they've worked with individuals who share this background or whether they’ve worked in these communities. If so, you may wish to ask them to elaborate on ways that they feel especially prepared to work with Hispanic and Latino clients. If they have not worked with such clients, they may know someone who has and be able to make a referral.

Who is included in Psychology Today’s directory of Hispanic and Latino therapists?
The directory of Hispanic and Latino therapists includes providers who have identified their ethnicity in their profiles. Psychology Today uses this information to assist clients in finding a therapist who can provide a cultural match. However, not all therapists choose to disclose their ethnicity in their profiles, and they may not appear in search results for this reason. When the number of therapists near you who identify as Hispanic and Latino is limited, the directory will also show therapists with comprehensive experience working with clients from relevant backgrounds.
