Have you experienced a traumatic event or loss in your past?
I work with clients to uncover their resilience and help them process those difficult feelings. Though trauma we experience becomes part of our story, it does not have to define our lives. My approach is client-centered, meaning I will listen to your needs and together we will develop an evidence-based treatment plan that fits with those needs.

If you are looking for support in dealing with your own changing life situation I offer individual counseling specializing in issues around aging and transitions. Consultation is available for the adult child who may be a caregiver or is wondering what the next steps could be or what community resources are available for an aging parent. Many adult children do not live near their parents or do not have the time to manage their parent's care. Having a local Geriatric Care Manager can ease some of the burden and worry around safety, care and placement concerns.

I provide affirmative care to all adolescents, couples, families and individual clients, including but not limited to LGBTQIA+ folx, BIPOC folx, neurodivergent folx, those in the disabled community, those with complex trauma, those with grief, and clients who practice ethical non-monogamy and polyamory.
As both a systemic therapist and drama therapist, I am influenced by a variety of practices that incorporate creative and somatic processes – including role-play, narrative therapy, improvisation, sociodrama, sculpting, and more. The therapeutic relationship itself is a powerful vehicle for healing, and I place great value on building a genuine relationship.

You may be experiencing a great loss, or even many losses from the pandemic, or feel stuck in patterns that no longer serve your growth.
My approach to psychotherapy explores the unique life story of each individual (with the personal unconscious) while also remembering the larger connection to being human (with the collective unconscious). It is depth-oriented, drawing from Jungian, analytical and psychoanalytic psychology.

Deep inside of you is the awareness of what you need to heal. I help facilitate and unearth that inner wisdom with individuals, relationships, and groups. Together, we'll practice tuning into your own unique embodied truth. From there, we can translate that increased clarity into tangible action that aligns with your greatest, most authentic wellbeing. Our bodies exist within larger systems — many of which can disconnect us from ourselves and each other. We'll look together at the messages we've internalized from these systems in order to unearth the ones that are no longer helpful.
