Trusting yourself feels harder than it used to — harder than you think it should. You’re here because your sense of self-trust feels shaken — you want to strengthen it in your relationships, your decisions, and your inner life. You understand why certain patterns exist, while your ways of relating and your body haven’t caught up to that information. You might feel hyper-alert, doubt your instincts and struggle to feel grounded. Some women come to me in the midst of betrayal trauma or relational harm. Others are in growth-oriented partnerships and want support showing up more fully, clearly, and authentically.

I love supporting women and LGBTQ+ individuals who have survived mistreatment or abuse and are ready to reconnect with their inner strength.
I offer a warm, trauma-informed space to help you reconnect with yourself and release old patterns with compassion. I believe healing isn’t about fixing yourself: It’s about remembering who you are beneath the pain and moving forward with greater clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

If you’ve ever been told your emotions are “too much” or that you should be “over it by now,” therapy can be a place where all parts of you are welcomed. Trauma, loss, and marginalization deserve space to be heard and honored. I work with people whose feelings are bursting out and want a counselor who won’t be overwhelmed.

My approach is holistic and integrative, combining trauma therapy with nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and yoga therapy. I also support couples and families using the Gottman method to strengthen connection, trust, and emotional safety.

Accepting new clients as of February 2026. I believe that therapy is meant to empower clients to feel that they are capable of change and living a fuller, more integrated life. I work with individuals and couples dealing with a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and family conflict. I utilize a systemic and bio-psycho-social-spiritual approach in therapy. This simply means integrating the many parts of a person into therapy. I also aim to explore the impact of significant relationships and the influence of larger social systems on client's sense of wholeness and ability to achieve desired growth.

Accepting Individuals and Couples — Virtual Only My clients are thoughtful, self-aware people who are doing “all the right things” but still feel stuck. They may carry responsibility for others, struggle with boundaries, overthink decisions, or feel disconnected from themselves. Many are navigating identity, relationship complexity, or life transitions. They want honest support, deeper healing, and a space where they do not have to translate themselves or minimize their story.

I view therapy as a relational and collaborative process between counselor and client(s) that focuses on clients' personal goals and desires for change. I work with clients to understand their current difficulties, thoughts, and feelings as well as look at how their past experiences and relationships impact their current situation. Engaging in therapy has many benefits such as alleviating anxiety and dissatisfaction, learning better coping skills, improving relationships with others, increasing self awareness, and finding greater personal meaning.

Domestic Abuse Therapists
What are the most effective ways to recover from domestic abuse?
Leaving an abusive relationship requires tremendous courage, so survivors in treatment should recognize that they have already completed the most important step. Still, the trauma of physical or emotional abuse can be difficult to process and overcome. Therapy can help survivors process trauma, grief, and difficult emotions, treat relevant mental health symptoms, and create a new framework for boundaries and relationships in the future. For some, support groups can also be an invaluable outlet for healing.

When should an individual seek help for domestic abuse?
Victims of intimate partner violence should seek help immediately. It can take substantial time, planning, energy, and courage to leave an abusive relationship, but starting the process—by seeking therapy, calling the domestic violence hotline, or simply confiding in a loved one—will help them get there. Those who have left abusive relationships but haven’t sought treatment can also greatly benefit from therapy to process and heal from the experience.

What are the consequences of staying in an abusive relationship?
Remaining in an abusive relationship has serious repercussions. In addition to the ongoing threat of physical danger and emotional abuse, research shows that intimate partner violence is associated with a range of mental health disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and substance abuse. Therefore it’s important for individuals in an abusive relationship to seek help as soon as possible.

How can you get domestic abuse treatment for someone else?
It can be very complicated to identify and leave an abusive relationship; barriers include the threat of violence, financial instability, and family pressures. Those concerned about a loved one in an abusive relationship should talk to them about the situation, provide them with resources such as the domestic violence hotline, and introduce the idea of seeing a therapist due to their concern for the person’s safety and well-being.
