Change does not happen overnight. It is a process that happens by taking small steps towards a goal every day. My goal is to help individual's & families to become stronger & have a healthier outlook on the future/present, so they can develop accepting & loving relationship with themselves & others without judgement. This is done by improving communication, learning & understanding an individual’s past, beliefs or culture can affect one’s behavior, views & emotions, building up self-worth, being validated when family members address issues from the past or present.

I practice an integrative wholeness approach to relational health and mental wellness, integrating the best of science research, neurobiology, and Christian Spiritual Formation.
Positively or negatively, how one feels effects the chemistry and electricity of every cell in the body as emotions function as a regulatory system in the body. Moreover, the body is unable to differentiate whether chronic stress is physically driven or emotionally driven, but the unmediated end result is the same: toxic thoughts and chronic stress negatively affect the expression of the DNA (epigenetics) impacting mental, physical, emotional, and social health.

Are you constantly overthinking, feeling on edge, or emotionally exhausted—even when nothing specific seems wrong? Do you find yourself struggling with guilt from the past, shutting down when things get too overwhelming, or feeling like no one truly sees or understands you? Maybe you're navigating the weight of trauma, depression, or anxiety, and you're tired of trying to carry it alone.
Being part of a diverse community has given me a firsthand understanding of the effects of systemic oppression, generational trauma, and cultural invalidation.

You look like you’re doing okay but something feels off. You may be struggling with anxiety, overthinking, or relationship conflict, feeling stuck in patterns that don’t make sense. Whether in your own life or as a couple, you feel unheard, overwhelmed, or caught in the same cycles. You’ve tried to figure it out, but nothing works. I integrate Internal Family System (IFS) and Narrative approach to explore the parts of you under stress, the patterns that keep you stuck, and the stories you carry. For couples, we work to understand the cycle between you so it’s no longer you versus each other, but what’s happening underneath.

I have spent decades working with adults and teens in complex settings, and I am excited to offer individual therapy designed for your specific struggles and goals. Many clients come to therapy looking for ways to handle difficult emotions and situations. Our thoughts and behaviors are shaped by our families, societal expectations, and feelings we may not fully express or understand. These patterns can leave us feeling stuck, self-critical, and helpless. Together, we'll identify which problems are truly yours and which are simply a reflection of a dysfunctional situation!
