I utilize attachment theory to help get a better understanding of who you are while finding mindful emotional strategies through ACT work.
Are you finding your mind lives consistently in the future or stresses over the past? Are you finding yourself revisiting the same thoughts over and over? Sometimes it can feel like our brains are working against us and the more we try and fight, the more they win. Together we can explore ways to help you work through some of this difficulty while finding ways to feel joyful and present. My primary area of focus is working with clients on anxiety, parenting concerns, unhealthy coping skills like self-medicating and relationship issues.

I am also trained in CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ( ACT), Behavioral Activation (BA), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT).
I work well with clients who are struggling to thrive in everyday life, who need a path forward and feel stuck. If you've been experiencing depression, anxiety, increased anger, irritability, frustrations with relationships, a depleted sense of self, or a whole host of problems, then we might be a great fit. Some folks I work with don't want to live anymore or experience strong urges to harm themselves. When working with folks who experience any of these symptoms, my goal is to help you identify and work toward living a life you find joyful and meaningful.

I also work with queer-identifying individuals, providing a safe, affirming environment where you can explore your identity, navigate challenges, and find acceptance.
My ideal client is someone navigating life transitions—coping with loss, exploring their identity, or dealing with the struggles of being a teenager. They may be feeling weighed down by family stress, peer pressure, school anxiety, or managing anxiety, depression, trauma, or bipolar disorder. What they need most is genuine support—someone who listens without judgment, affirms their experiences, and is truly committed to their growth. Their goals are to live life to the fullest. I’m passionate about helping them feel understood, empowered, and ready to create a future they’re excited about. I’m here to support them on that journey.

My approach is primarily cognitive/behavioral and most of my training is in CBT, DBT and ACT but I also draw on other modalities including IFS, art therapy, ecological, and humanistic approaches.
I assist clients in building skills and acquiring tools to align their life with their values and vision. I help clients identify their own strengths and wisdom to effectively face life's challenges, achieve goals and create lasting changes. I consider the social and cultural factors that impact each person's ways of being, how they are treated in this world, and how they adapt to difficult experiences. I offer a collaborative, non-judgmental, creative and hopeful space that is conducive to self-exploration and transformation.

I believe in the resilience of the human spirit and think that it is an act of courage and hope to engage in therapy.
I work with people who are anxious, depressed, grieving or just need some more support and structure in their life. Maybe you have experienced trauma and need help getting to the other side of it. Maybe you are at a crossroads and are making changes in your life. Maybe you are stuck and don’t know which way to go. Or maybe old beliefs and patterns of thinking and behaving just aren’t working for you anymore and it’s time to find a new way. My clients are seeking more joy in their life and want to live more fully according to what truly matters to them.

You deserve a space where every part of you belongs: where you feel unconditionally cared for and seen. I relate from a stance of non-judgmental acceptance with the goal of communicating that you make sense to me. In our work together, I’ll move towards you with curiosity, warmth, and acceptance as you feel into difficult emotions. At times we’ll play, be silly, and feel into and towards joy, excitement, and hope.

I use ACT and growth mindset to increase resilience, coming to terms with the challenges of life and performance and learning from difficult situations instead of avoiding them, as well as teaching coping skills.
I'm Connor, a licensed mental health counselor and the mental health liaison to Seattle University athletics. I work with athletes and others on their general mental health and sport psych performance issues. On the performance side, I treat performance anxiety, lack of confidence, burnout, and more. On the clinical side, I work with people experiencing depression, anxiety, difficulty with stress management, big life adjustments, grief, hoarding, and more. Regardless of the model, I always provide a warm, positive listening ear with a strong desire to help.
