If you are an adult with ADHD, things like staying organized, sticking to a plan, finishing tasks, meeting deadlines, and remembering where you left your keys can feel difficult.
I am here to help you with whatever isn’t working, and build on what is. We’ll use ACT-based mindfulness to identify what’s getting in your way. We’ll build systems, skills, and habits to increase your effectiveness, organization, and emotional resilience. You’ll spend less time struggling, and more time living as the person you want to be.

I help people break free from the weight of anxiety, burnout, stress and relationship struggles. My passion lies in empowering my clients to shed the guilt, shame, people-pleasing, and perfectionism that hold them back from fully embracing who they are. Whether it’s navigating the intense pressure and burnout in a corporate career, carrying the weight of many different roles at once (e.g. parent and/or caregiver, partner, working professional, etc.), or facing the unique challenges of life’s big transitions, I’m here to support you in facing uncertainty and help you build the strength and confidence to flourish.

Many of us have known heartache that doesn't seem to end, feeling down without always knowing why, or persistent worry. It's my life's passion to join people who have struggled with these experiences and help them find clarity, fulfillment, and joy. I'm excited to work with clients as they dig deeper into understanding the "why" behind their choices and motivations, so they can ultimately feel alive and vibrant no matter what they face.

I offer telehealth services to adults anywhere in Washington state.
Do you spiral down rabbit holes of anxious thoughts? Do you worry about all of the “what ifs?” or doubt yourself? Do you beat yourself up for things you “should” have done differently? Life is inherently full of stressors. The way our minds are hardwired often results in painful emotions, such as anxiety, sadness, shame, or guilt. Like quicksand, the more we fight these thoughts and emotions, the worse it gets. But there’s hope. We can change our relationship with painful thoughts and emotions so they don’t prevent us from living our lives to the fullest.

Feeling stuck or reactive in old patterns? I've been there and I see you. I believe in the transformative power of compassion and self-awareness and the peace that comes with a calm nervous system. My non-pathologizing approach is rooted in the understanding that every individual comes with their own unique set of past experiences and I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space of present attention where one’s feelings and truths are valid. Working from a systems perspective, I conceptualize each person within the context of their unique environments, recognizing the complex interplay of factors that shape their experiences.

Contrary to what movies show you about therapy, I won’t give you unwanted advice or simply nod solemnly the whole session. I bring curiosity, compassion, humor, free expression, and movement to join with my clients and help them explore what healing means to them. I hope to empower clients to access their natural abilities and to gently disrupt the unhealthy patterns we humans often get stuck in using more than traditional “talk therapy” approach. My goal is to facilitate somatic healing, so your whole body begins to feel better as you gain new awareness and get “unstuck” from the patterns you’re ready to release.

Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or compulsive behaviors can feel overwhelming—like they’ve taken over and won’t let go. Maybe you’ve tried to manage it on your own, or even received supportive care from a therapist, but nothing seems to stick. It’s frustrating and exhausting. What you really want is clarity, relief, and tools that actually work. A way to understand what’s happening in your mind and feel more in control. Therapy should be effective and tailored to you—with an expert provider who is warm, collaborative, and truly invested in your care.

Welcome to Creative Guidance, PLLC. I believe that our ability to stay in the moment, especially when things are difficult, can be tough. Wanting to escape the present moment is a normal human response. When we are able to remain present, that is where healing, wisdom and change truly lies. When we can stay with what we are feeling and experiencing, both good and challenging, we are then empowered to change our lives.

If you're reading this you're struggling in some way and could benefit from real, concrete and evidence-based support. I'd be happy to help! I use a person-centered approach that leverages an individual's natural resilience. But you don't have to suffer alone - it's helpful to find a supportive relationship in which to sort out thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are overwhelming or no longer serve us. I've had the great honor of seeing clients heal from trauma, sexual abuse, relationship struggles and life uncertainty. Whether it's trouble sleeping, life overwhelm or general discontent, I'd love to help make meaningful change!

FAQ - About Adult Counseling
Why should adults see a therapist?
Adults may benefit from therapy for a wide range of reasons—whether it’s managing symptoms of a diagnosed mental health condition like anxiety or depression, navigating life transitions, coping with grief or trauma, or simply seeking support during a challenging life period. Many adults find that therapy helps them build healthier coping skills and better process their emotions, which may lead to better relationships and reduced stress. It’s important to note that, unlike psychiatrists or primary care physicians, therapists do not prescribe psychiatric medication. However, they will often work alongside prescribing clinicians to ensure coordinated care and can provide behavioral therapy as an important addition to psychiatric medication. Mental health concerns can look different in adulthood than in childhood or adolescence, so finding a therapist with expertise working with adult clients is important. Conditions like major depressive disorder (MDD), generalized anxiety disorder (GAD), bipolar disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), for instance, may present or resurface differently in adulthood than in childhood or adolescence. Adult-specific stressors, such as job strain, caregiving responsibilities, relationship challenges, financial stress, or identity transitions, can also influence the onset and type of symptoms an individual experiences. Adult-focused therapists, therefore, are trained to understand these complexities and tailor care accordingly.

How do I know if a therapist is the right fit for me?
When seeking care, it’s important to understand a therapist’s treatment specialties and their overall approach to treatment . Some therapists focus on common adult conditions like anxiety or depression, while others specialize in areas such as trauma, substance use disorders, or obsessive-compulsive disorder. It’s also important to consider a therapist’s training when seeking care. Therapists hold various licenses depending on their training and state requirements. Common therapy credentials include Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs), Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHCs), Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs), and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFTs). Psychologists (PhD or PsyD) receive additional doctoral-level training and may focus on assessments or more specialized therapeutic approaches. All of these professionals can provide talk therapy but do not prescribe medication. When searching for a therapist, consider their credentials and training background to ensure a good fit.

How do I find a therapist who sees adults?
Psychology Today’s online directory allows you to search specifically for therapists who work with adults. Each provider profile includes key information such as clinical specialties, therapeutic approaches, licensure, accepted insurance plans, languages spoken, and session fees. Reviewing these details can help you determine whether a particular provider aligns with your needs and can indicate whether they are a good match for adult clients.
