Savy Counseling Services LLC is a counseling practice focused on your emotional and mind health. Services are provided in a private caring atmosphere. I work to provide empowerment and understanding during sessions. I provide counseling for children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. I have worked in the field of mental health for 25 years.

My focus is to offer a comfortable and safe place where individuals can explore where they are, what is important to them, and what will help them get to where they want to go. I listen to what the individual says and help them think about what they want and how they want to make changes to make their life better. I never underestimate the individual's ability and help them realize their potential. I see my role as a caring and patient mentor and guide.

OOO Something Shiny! All of my clients with undiagnosed Adult ADHD start out with the same frustration. Why is it that I know what I need to do, but can't do anything differently? They describe having all of these goals and dreams and starting to reach them but eventually getting discouraged and stopping. Once they stop, just thinking about starting up again is so overwhelming that they end up not doing anything at all. Deadlines go by, bills don't get paid, and relationships get ruined. And it leads them all to the same question. What is wrong with me? What if I told you that it might be ADHD and Unresolved Childhood Trauma?

I have had the great privilege of serving a wide range of individuals, couples, and families for over two decades of professional practice. In that time I have worked with a vast array of clinical issues including chronic stress and anxiety, depression, family of origin issues, marital and family struggles, substance abuse, trauma in all of its forms, esteem and self-worth, identity, disordered eating, academic and employment challenges, death and dying, and transitions across the life span. My approach is direct, supportive, and educational, and my ultimate intention is to literally teach you how to be your own therapist.

I'm experienced working with minority communities including working with women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ clients. Minority groups, and couples, particularly those at the intersections of gender, race, and sexual orientation, are often underrepresented in fields of work such as business, tech, and entrepreneurship. I believe therapy should be a safe and non-judgmental space that empowers individuals to be able to push their own limits and views of themselves, in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. Being able to embrace oneself and each other is one of the strongest things a person can learn to do.

I view therapy as a partnership between client and therapist and approach issues from a behavior change perspective. I work with clients to identify areas that are causing distress, understand how they may be contributing to these problems, and identify changes they can actively make to yield the results they want to see. Because of the many positions I have held in the mental health field during the past 17 years, I am able to pull from a variety of evidenced-based treatment modalities and easily adjust course in order to best meet a client’s needs.

Often the goal of therapy is for clients to develop the capacity to resolve personal problems with the support of a therapist. The clinicians at Counseling Services for Wellbeing work collaboratively with the clients to build on their existing strengths, enhance relationships, increase and procure a support system and obtain the necessary skills and tools to lead a happier and more fulfilling life. My areas of expertise are depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, substance abuse problems, anger management concerns, and traumatic life experiences. I have work in both inpatient and outpatient mental health environments, supporting a wide range of clients suffering from mild to severe problems.

Glyn Deputy, M.Ed, LMHC, brings a keen awareness of both the necessities and subtleties of surviving our human condition and reaching one’s full potential to his clients at the Poulsbo office. Glyn has worked with generational family issues in rural and frontier communities, has assisted students with all types of disability in pursuing higher education, and has gained exceptional skills in mental health and substance abuse diagnosis and treatment, having broad experience in community mental health services.

I bring exceptional training and over twenty years of experience serving my clients. I enjoy working with adolescents, adults, and seniors. I have worked with a wide variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, addiction, and trauma. Together we can work to help equip you with the necessary tools to help you face and overcome your challenges. Whether you’re struggling with trauma, overcoming addiction, or depression, it is important that you know you don’t have to be alone in this journey. My psychology practice focuses on psychological evaluations and assessments for adults (ages 18+). I primarily specialize in Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD assessments, but also conduct evaluations for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder, Borderline Personality Disorder, and Trauma/PTSD. My office makes psychological evaluations conveniently accessible to many people. We help with the insurance preauthorization process and can usually complete the entire process within 1-3 months. Jennifer has a clinical degree in Couples and Family Therapy, a Bachelor’s in Behavioral Psychology, a Master’s in Divinity, and a Doctorate in Psychology and Religion (East-West Philosophy) with an emphasis on culture and wellness. The first half of her adult life was spent on the East Coast studying, researching, teaching and writing books. In the second half, she’s been devoted to her family and growing as a therapist while living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, her original home. Jennifer believes good relationships support great lives.
