Join our waitlist to begin therapy in September 2023. I am the owner and Supervisor at Creative Expressions. I believe the therapeutic relationship is valuable in making change. I focus on getting to know the way you experience yourself, your world, and others around you. The systems we exist in provide varying degrees of privilege and oppression, each of which can have significant impacts on how we relate to our selves and the world around us. I aim to help you explore and gain insight in order to make meaningful changes. I value compassion, equity, creativity, humor, and honesty in my work with clients.
GENDER AFFIRMING LETTERS: My practice is at capacity , but I do keep some openings to offer 1-3 sessions for gender affirming letters. My approach to therapy is informed by social justice and using all forms of creativity to rectify imbalances. I have additional training in DBT, Internal Family Systems, Art Therapy, Mindfulness, and LGBTQ issues.
I encourage self expression in whatever form feels comfortable for you. Engaging in creative expression with the help of a trained art therapist can generate new neural pathways and foster healing. No need to have any previous art experience, art therapy is about the process, not the product.
