Unwanted pornography use, cheating, or infidelity can leave a couple feeling shattered, ashamed, and afraid. You love each other, yet there’s a part of your relationship that brings deep hurt, seeming impossible to overcome. Just when things improve, the pain resurfaces, and despite apologies, the effects linger. The betraying partner feels shame and regret; the hurt partner is caught in a painful cycle of reaching out and pulling back. You’re ready to confront the betrayal, rebuild trust, and create the relationship you’ve always wanted. You’re ready to feel secure and safe again. I want to help you get there.

You are the expert of your own life—even when it doesn’t feel that way. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself or your relationships, therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect. I work alongside clients to deepen self-understanding, strengthen relationships, and build a more grounded sense of self. I have a special interest in supporting individuals and families through life transitions, including the shift into parenthood. The early stages of becoming a new parent can bring both joy and unexpected challenges—identity changes, emotional overwhelm, and shifts in relationships.

My belief is that counseling is a journey we travel together. Our first step is to define where you want to go – discovering the reasons that you have chosen to meet with me at this point in your life. We will also identify your strengths, what’s working well in your life, and the things that can be changed to get you to your destination. My goal is to work myself out of a job as you develop the skills and tools that you can use in the present and the future to have the life that you desire.

For those seeking deep, whole-system healing, I work with adults and couples who are ready to move beneath the surface of their struggles and create lasting change. Many of my clients have already done meaningful work, yet still sense that something essential has not fully shifted. Whether you feel blocked in relationships, disconnected from yourself, or discouraged that growth has only gone so far, there is often a deeper layer of healing ready to unfold. I blend attachment-based therapy with somatic meditation to help clients soften old patterns, build inner trust and security, and experience more authentic connection

As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), I work with clients navigating betrayal trauma, compulsive sexual behaviors, and relationship challenges in a safe, supportive space where genuine healing can occur. Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) & ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) I help clients process and release the effects of painful experiences held in both the mind and body. FAQ - Therapist Gender
Does it matter what gender my therapist is?
In general, there is no relationship between a therapist’s gender and their efficacy. Some clients, however, prefer to see therapists of a particular gender, whether due to their own past experiences with men and women, or because they feel more comfortable with a therapist of their own gender due to shared life experiences or perspectives. Considering what one wants to address in therapy can help someone determine whether their therapist’s gender may matter or improve their therapeutic experience. The most important consideration is that a client is able to build a trusting relationship with their therapist.

Should I see a female therapist?
Many people—not just women—prefer to see a female therapist. For women, this could be because they believe that they will be able to better connect with a woman, and that a female therapist will be able to relate to their specific challenges and personal issues. It may be particularly beneficial for women to see a female therapist, for example, for gender-specific issues, such as sexism in the workplace, relationship issues, and gender roles. The most important factor in therapy is the client-therapist connection, and a therapist's gender as well as many other factors may play an important role in this.

Do therapists get specific training to help with women’s concerns?
Therapists are trained to provide care to clients of any gender. However, some therapists may pursue additional training in feminist therapy, gender-specific issues, or women’s mental health. Female clients may wish to ask prospective therapists whether they have received specific training in the client’s primary area(s) of concern, or whether they have worked extensively with women on issues similar to their own.

How can I inquire about a therapist’s experience in treating women?
It’s OK—even encouraged!—to ask a therapist directly whether and how often they have treated women in the past, or whether they have treated women dealing with the client’s most prominent concern(s). Competent therapists will be happy to share their educational background, preferred treatment modalities, and prior client experience to help an individual find the therapist best suited to their needs.
