I specialize in helping individuals heal from trauma, anxiety, depression, sex addiction, and betrayal trauma through a compassionate, evidence-based approach. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT), I work with clients navigating betrayal trauma, compulsive sexual behaviors, and relationship challenges in a safe, supportive space where genuine healing can occur. Using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) & ART (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) I help clients process and release the effects of painful experiences held in both the mind and body. These methods promote deep healing within the nervous system.

Unwanted pornography use, cheating, or infidelity can leave a couple feeling shattered, ashamed, and afraid. You love each other, yet there’s a part of your relationship that brings deep hurt, seeming impossible to overcome. Just when things improve, the pain resurfaces, and despite apologies, the effects linger. The betraying partner feels shame and regret; the hurt partner is caught in a painful cycle of reaching out and pulling back. You’re ready to confront the betrayal, rebuild trust, and create the relationship you’ve always wanted. You’re ready to feel secure and safe again. I want to help you get there.

My belief is that counseling is a journey we travel together. Our first step is to define where you want to go – discovering the reasons that you have chosen to meet with me at this point in your life. We will also identify your strengths, what’s working well in your life, and the things that can be changed to get you to your destination. My goal is to work myself out of a job as you develop the skills and tools that you can use in the present and the future to have the life that you desire.

It takes courage to seek help. Whether you are trying to make an important decision, facing a crisis, or in the middle of a major transition in your life, it makes sense to seek counsel. Something has shifted, and the coping strategies that used to carry you through are not quite holding the weight anymore. My clients are adults who want to think carefully about what is happening to them and make meaningful choices about what comes next. You do not have to have the answers when you arrive. You need the space to slow down, hear yourself, and work through it with someone who is genuinely in your corner.

Come as you are. Let’s begin there. Maybe life feels too loud. Maybe something shifted - slowly or suddenly - and now nothing seems to fit quite right. Or maybe you’ve been stuck in a loop for so long that even hope feels out of reach. Here, we slow things down. Together, we make room for the truth of what hurts and the quiet pull of what matters. We’ll pay close attention to the story that brought you here - past, present, and everything in between - including how your relationships, patterns, and context shape what you carry. This work isn’t about rushing to fix you. It’s about returning to yourself, with care.

While I have a background in several types of therapy, the ones I tend to lean towards the most as I find most helpful and well rounded are cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT) Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), and internal family systems (IFS).
If you are a future client of mine, I want to say welcome, and I am so glad you are here! I have been practicing as a therapist for the past 5 years, utilizing a range of evidence-based modalities used to help assist a client on their journey to healing. My approach as a therapist is client centered, because this is your care, so your needs and voice deserves to be heard and be a focal point for treatment. I have over 22 years counseling individuals and families.
For those seeking deep, whole-system healing, I work with adults and couples who are ready to move beneath the surface of their struggles and create lasting change. Many of my clients have already done meaningful work, yet still sense that something essential has not fully shifted. Whether you feel blocked in relationships, disconnected from yourself, or discouraged that growth has only gone so far, there is often a deeper layer of healing ready to unfold. I blend attachment-based therapy with somatic meditation to help clients soften old patterns, build inner trust and security, and experience more authentic connection

Family Therapy
What do family therapists do?
A family therapist facilitates the process of understanding and improving how a family functions. The therapist will help family members develop empathy for one another. They’ll seek to understand existing patterns, misunderstandings, and conflicts that arise, in order to help the family arrive at a realistic, unified understanding and develop the coping skills they need to build stronger relationships.

How long does therapy for families take to work?
Therapy manifests differently in every family; a common time frame is 12 weekly sessions, but some families may see improvement after just a few weeks. Families should discuss their goals with the therapist at the beginning of the process and periodically revisit those goals to assess their progress together.

How can you encourage a family member to attend family therapy?
You can encourage family members to attend therapy by expressing with both love and concern the challenges you see and explaining how a therapist could help the family navigate those challenges together. An outside perspective can help everyone feel heard, get on the same page, and develop new skills. If family members are still hesitant, it may be helpful to emphasize that family therapy is short-term—it won’t last forever.

Is therapy for families effective?
Family therapy can significantly improve family dynamics and relationships. Research suggests that family therapy can help individuals understand their role in the family, communicate and solve problems together, reduce conflict and draw boundaries when necessary, and develop coping skills for stressors, major life changes, and mental or physical illnesses within the family.
