Also, as a Certified Sexual Addiction therapist I assist female sex and love addicts or treat partners of those who are addicted to porn or sex. Working from a Christian worldview I help clients understand themselves better and develop better coping strategies. Joleena is Certified in the Treament of Sexual Addiction, is a Certified Betrayal Trauma Coach, a Certified Clinical Trauma and Addiction Specialist, with a Masters of Psychology in Grief Counseling, and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. Joleena specializes in helping couples working through betrayal and addiction of all kinds. She also works with clients that are struggling with anxiety, addictive behaviors, depression, PTSD, emotional abuse, mental abuse and trauma of various kinds. Her passion is to provide a safe space for her clients and to walk hand-in-hand with them, guiding them through the healing process.

I am excepting new clients in person and on-line. I work with clients on such issues as: Sex Addiction and their Partners; Anxiety; Depression; Codependency; adult and childhood trauma; grief and loss;healing and transition after divorce; family of origin wounds; shame and the aging process. I have a passion to work deeply on healing and changing issues using EMDR; Life Span Integration; and Voice Dialogue (attachment parts work) EFT tapping at accupunture point to decrease anxiety/stress. We use CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) to identify your goals; limited negative beliefs and distressing emotions.

His passion is to provide a safe space for his clients and to walk hand-in-hand with them, guiding them through the healing process.

I believe that almost all change that occurs in therapy comes from forming a safe therapeutic relationship, and in the context of that relationship increasing your awareness of self, challenging your old beliefs, establishing appropriate boundaries in relationships with others, and experiencing and letting go of old pain. My task is to support you in that process. I tend to be active in therapy. I ask questions, offer observations, and look for patterns in the client's life. However, I believe the client is the final expert on themselves, and I trust in their unique healing process.
