TriWest Therapists in Parkland, WA
I am John Kopp, and it is a pleasure to meet you. Living as a human being is inherently difficult. Pain, change, and loss are guaranteed. When you add the slings and arrows of trauma to the baseline difficulty of being alive, it makes sense that you are looking for help. Nothing about your reaction is wrong.
My clients are adults working through trauma, grief, depression, and the weight of experiences that would have broken anyone. You do not need to justify why you are here. You need a space to tell the truth about what has happened, with someone who is not going to flinch.

I believe in celebrating the full complexity of who you are, and in empowering you through a therapeutic process that is actually shaped around you. Too many people have experienced therapy that felt generic, rushed, or like their background and story were footnotes instead of the main text. You deserve better than that.
My clients are adults working on self-esteem, identity, cultural and life transitions, anxiety, and the deeper work of becoming someone you recognize and respect. Commitment and compassion are at the forefront of every session, because without those, nothing else really holds.

Hi, I am Pat Vulk. I know that finding a counselor can be difficult, so I want to give you a sense of who I am and how I work, because the fit matters more than anything else.
If you are reading this, something is probably not working the way you want it to. Maybe the anxiety has gotten loud enough that you cannot ignore it. Maybe the same relationship pattern keeps showing up no matter who you date. Maybe you are just tired of spinning your wheels on problems you thought you had figured out. My clients are adults who are ready to stop talking about change and start actually doing it.

I also have experience that includes, but is not limited to, grief and loss, domestic violence, substance abuse, and career counseling. I prefer to use the humanistic and strengths-based approach but can change the therapy approach to fit your needs.

Are you heartbroken? Anxious? Angry? All of the above and more? You are welcome here. You may have a relationship that is falling apart or make the same bad decisions again and again. You may be overwhelmed by an overly critical mind that says you are undeserving, less than, or too much. Perhaps you take care of others and forget to take care of yourself. You long for companionship and have a deep desire to matter, to belong, and to be respected.

When I hear the words "ideal client," I immediately think about someone who is willing to change. This is someone who is wanting to work on themselves and is ready to take "personal inventory." Someone who is open, honest, and vulnerable with themselves and their therapist. A client who is willing to engage and participate in the process of bettering themselves. We can work on managing stress, day to day challenges, or learning coping skills. We will work together on a therapeutic approach that is right for you.

It’s hard to carry anxiety, depression, stress, and life changes while still trying to show up for work, family, and everyone around you. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who are used to being the strong one, even when they feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or disconnected inside. I especially enjoy working with individuals navigating daily stressors and identity related experiences, and those trying to find balance while managing the pressure of everyday life.

Petya Pacheva MA, MHP, LMHC:
Suffering the impacts of trauma, being entangled in a web of codependency, or sinking into stagnating depression, can cause marked distress and dysfunction in our daily lives. Sometimes our own attempts at self-medicating can further complicate matters. If we have experienced a significant loss, it may be hard to even imagine an end to the pain and it may be rather difficult to trust in any process of change. Fear and shame can often prevent us from reaching out, convincing us this is an unyielding fate.

Hello, I am Will Rogers. My ideal client wants to experience more connection in their lives. They want to feel more deeply connected to themselves, and more deeply connected to the people they care about. Somewhere along the way, something got in the way of that, and now even the good moments feel a little muted.
My clients are adults who recognize that pattern. Maybe you grew up where emotions were not welcome and now you cannot quite access your own. Maybe you have become the functional version of yourself and lost the rest. You want to feel what you are actually feeling, and be fully met by the people in your life.

Hello, I’m James, and thank you for being here. Whether you are new to therapy or have been sitting on the therapy chaise lounge for years, welcome! First off, there is no "perfect" way to do therapy and there is no "perfect" way to be a client. Frustrating, I know - let's talk about it! I strive to make my practice safe, comfortable, individualized and resourceful. Another core tenant of my practice that I find equally important: your agency/choice. You are the brain in the body, after all, and I will do my best to collaborate with you for achieving your aims (General response time: 48-72 hrs).

Life doesn't always unfold the way we expected. You may be navigating anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship challenges, a major life transition, or the lasting impact of family patterns that no longer serve you. As a first-generation American, I understand the complexity of balancing culture, expectations, identity, and belonging. I've lived enough life to know how much people can carry, often quietly and for a long time. Together, we'll slow things down, make sense of what you're carrying, and create space for meaningful change.
