I enjoy working with people who want to help themselves. I realize we all face challenges and there is no such thing as perfection. Individuals who worry too much about the little things, struggle to put words to feelings, and genuinely desire to figure things out. I meet you where you are at offering a supportive, but direct interaction. Together we work toward achieving your goals as you progress into the best version of yourself.

As a clinical social worker, I enjoy the opportunity to support, collaborate with, and empower individuals seeking to live a life of wellness. I strive to create a supportive atmosphere where you can explore beliefs, values, and life patterns that either help or hinder you in meeting your goals. So often our present thoughts, behaviors, and emotions are driven by our past. By creating awareness you can begin to change your patterns. Together we can work to identify coping skills based on your individual wisdom and strengths to overcome life challenges and help you make steps in a forward direction.

The opening of Dante's Inferno reads "Midway upon the journey of our life, I found myself within a forest dark, for the straightforward pathway had been lost." This story of a person's journey through hell became a classic because all of us have found, at one time or another, that the straight path in our lives has been lost, and that we are alone in a dark forest. Do you feel lost? When we look a little closer, we begin to understand that most of the darkness around us is self-created. That forest was cultivated with the seeds of our past experience.

Trauma can shape how you relate to yourself, your body, and the people you care about-often in ways that don't feel obvious at first. If you've done years of therapy but still feel stuck, overwhelmed, or fragmented inside, you're not broken. Your nervous system learned what it needed to survive.
I specialize in working with adults who have experienced developmental trauma, relational trauma, and dissociation. My approach is thoughtful, paced, and collaborative, with an emphasis on safety, curiosity and helping your system regain choice and coherence.

I have a passion for helping others and offer a compassionate, safe space to help you work towards positive change. My work from a strengths-based perspective helps you recognize your strengths. Your strengths are how you have managed life as you know it. We will work together towards a solution that feels best to you. I believe we are all stronger than we know and sometimes things just get in the way. We can take time to understand the patterns that have been created in your life. While we can’t change the past, knowing your story can help you move forward.

I can bill Providence insurance, and a super-bill can be provided for out-of-network reimbursements.
I believe one flourishes in life through developing meaningful, healthy relationships. In my view, counseling is a means of healing within a relational context. I approach counseling from a Biblical lens, holding the belief that having a relationship with and knowing one’s true identity in Christ is the ultimate source of genuine and lasting healing.
While this is my worldview, I gladly work with those who do not ascribe to the same belief system.
