Helping you design and overcome the overwhelm to create your best
life
is what I am here for! I love helping you give energy to your
life
, your goals, and your dreams.
You’ve probably already read books like The Power of Now, The Secret, and The Four Agreements but still feel a bit lost. You wake up in the morning, trudge through your day, do your best to get things done on your never ending list, just to have it start over again. You ask yourself questions like: What am I even doing? Where do I want to go? What do I want to be? What do I even want to do with my
life
? We’re all still constantly figuring it out and doing our best, but there are things we can do to better understand what it is we want to create so we can start actually manifesting the future we want into existence.

Are you going through a major
life
change? Do you have a new job, a new relationship, or a new mental health diagnosis? What if you had a space to disclose your thoughts without feeling judged or criticized? Or maybe you need a place to just vent.

I guide big-feeling high achievers to make sensitivity their biggest advantage, so they transform their lives and the world without emotional overwhelm. Despite being eager about their growth, empathetic, and having a dry (alright, dark) sense of humor, when my clients come to me, they're stuck. While therapy helped to a certain extent, they’ve hit a plateau. The insights they gained in therapy aren’t solving their real-
life
problems. They aren’t the confident person they want to be. Their relationships are in a fragile state. They’re missing out on professional opportunities.

I see you as a creative being, part of nature, and a unique expression of
life
, perfect just as you are.
I hold safe space for you to move through difficulties and challenges. In my presence you will feel seen, understood, validated and empowered. My unique style of healing,
coaching
, and counseling meets you right where you are. The journey of
life
is sometimes joyful and sometimes painful. I do not see you as a diagnosis to be solved, but a whole being doing the work of reconnecting with yourself so you can move forward with a clear sense of self awareness and inner strength. We are all souls living a human experience. You are a unique being worthy of love and happiness. Your needs matter. Your desires matter. You matter.

I think all perspectives and walks of
life
hold value and lessons to be learned.
I work with clients who are ready for transformative work. My focus is to guide each client/s towards building a sense of competency, resourcefulness and helping them recognize that they hold the key to their own healing. I will explore current behaviors and
life
situations with clients and help them figure out which ones are inhibiting progress, which ones are serving them, and which are ready to be evolved into something else. I also like to look at the past, and family of origin to find what the patterns are that are ready to be broken and how to move forward in an empowered way. I help clients bring to
life
their next self.

My approach to therapy is very client focused. I am a systemic therapist and will try and look at the whole picture of your
life
to help figure out how to help. Working with couples to save, restore, or provide maintenance is my passion. There’s nothing in the world quite like trauma and the way it impacts us as individuals on many different levels. I can help you deal with and navigate these painful memories and intrusive thoughts to live a healthier
life
. If you are a parent struggling with a child or family problems, I believe I can connect with and help teach both parent and child to help you be a more successful family unit.

I deliver direction to put our work together in practice in the real-world
life
of your family.
When your brooding, moody teen just won't listen and your partner isn't much help either, what's a stressed out, overwhelmed parent like you to do? Pick up the phone and give me a call. Why? Because even though arguments and communication conflicts can make it feel like your family members are from an entirely different planet, there really are some secrets to bring peace, calm, and order to the chaos. I help people with depression who want to feel better in
life
. I help parents needing parenting skills. I help couples needing to find better ways of communication. I work with military, first responders and veterans to cope with
life

Getting to the heart of intense emotions and changing the status quo can be frightening. Yet, so is the idea of remaining in a place that is no longer sustainable. You know it’s time to stop trying to fill that void with what is no longer working. It can be very difficult to step out of expectations and into your authentic self. The decision to seek professional therapy and create movement in your
life
says you are ready. Anxiety, depression, compulsive behaviors and negative relationship patterns can become so overwhelming that we feel distrust in everything, especially ourselves.

My specialties include working with couples with emotional and physical intimacy, major
life
transitions, supporting those who work in the helping profession, and spiritual/
life coaching
.
I support couples and individuals in creating the relationships that they want. So often our relationships can be a place of struggle, disappointment, and disconnection, when we long to feel loved, supported, and connected. I create a safe space with clients to bring awareness and compassion to patterns of coping and surviving. I help clients to understand their inner experience, and guide them toward communicating with openness and skill. Relationships are one of our greatest resources, and getting support for conflict can be a starting point for true intimacy, healing and resilience.

Free yourself from the anxiety trap! Anxiety, panic, worry and stress can hold people back from performing in
life
. It can hold people back in school, from getting the job they want, getting promoted, and flourishing in relationships. Trying to escape anxiety can lead people to doing things they wouldn't normally do. When people are frozen with fear they are not living
life
fully as their authentic selves. Working with a therapist can break you free from anxiety. I've helped so many people work through these feelings to go on to be more successful in their lives.

What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
