Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just not quite yourself lately? You don’t have to face it alone. I’m passionate about helping others to work through the challenges of life, rebuild confidence, and rediscover what it feels like to truly enjoy life again. You may notice lingering memories or emotional numbness after difficult experiences, constant worry or racing thoughts that make it hard to relax, or struggles with focus, motivation, and follow-through. These symptoms can leave you feeling disconnected and exhausted—but with the right support, change is absolutely possible.

You’re tired of overthinking everything, masking how you really feel, and wondering why it all still feels so hard. My clients often navigate anxiety, OCD, trauma, ADHD, or autism—sometimes all at once. They’ve spent years managing, adapting, and surviving, but now they want to understand themselves, feel more grounded, and stop living in constant self-doubt. Therapy offers a space where you don’t have to over-explain—and where healing can finally begin.

Congratulations on taking the first step towards empowering yourself to learn, grow, and make positive changes in your life. Despite what others may have told you or what you may have told yourself, you have the power to transform your life and achieve your goals. All too often in the field of mental health, our experiences as women, are, more often than not, pathologized. Our best efforts at responding to the challenges and traumas we experience are often turned into diagnoses and disabilities.

My aim is to help those clients who want to use therapy for insight, self-exploration, healing and personal growth. My theoretical approach is holistic and relational, which means - together, we can explore the ways in which your personal history and learned habits may still be influencing your emotions, coping patterns and behaviors -- ultimately affecting your sense of self. Together we’ll sort out your feelings so that you can more fluidly access your innate capacity for compassionate self-care. I encourage a mindfulness focus to engage your “in-the-moment” experience. Our therapeutic connection can serve as a rich resource.

Couples often come to therapy when communication has broken down, trust feels fragile, or every conversation turns into an argument. If you and your partner feel stuck in the same painful patterns, arguing about the same issues, shutting down, or feeling more like roommates than partners, you are not alone. Many couples wait until things feel urgent or overwhelming before reaching out, and therapy can be a powerful turning point when both partners are ready for change.

Domestic Abuse Therapists
What are the most effective ways to recover from domestic abuse?
Leaving an abusive relationship requires tremendous courage, so survivors in treatment should recognize that they have already completed the most important step. Still, the trauma of physical or emotional abuse can be difficult to process and overcome. Therapy can help survivors process trauma, grief, and difficult emotions, treat relevant mental health symptoms, and create a new framework for boundaries and relationships in the future. For some, support groups can also be an invaluable outlet for healing.

When should an individual seek help for domestic abuse?
Victims of intimate partner violence should seek help immediately. It can take substantial time, planning, energy, and courage to leave an abusive relationship, but starting the process—by seeking therapy, calling the domestic violence hotline, or simply confiding in a loved one—will help them get there. Those who have left abusive relationships but haven’t sought treatment can also greatly benefit from therapy to process and heal from the experience.

What are the consequences of staying in an abusive relationship?
Remaining in an abusive relationship has serious repercussions. In addition to the ongoing threat of physical danger and emotional abuse, research shows that intimate partner violence is associated with a range of mental health disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and substance abuse. Therefore it’s important for individuals in an abusive relationship to seek help as soon as possible.

How can you get domestic abuse treatment for someone else?
It can be very complicated to identify and leave an abusive relationship; barriers include the threat of violence, financial instability, and family pressures. Those concerned about a loved one in an abusive relationship should talk to them about the situation, provide them with resources such as the domestic violence hotline, and introduce the idea of seeing a therapist due to their concern for the person’s safety and well-being.
