My therapeutic style is compassionate, warm, relational and strengths-based. I view my role as collaborating with clients as they move towards their goals and desires. The people I work with are often learning to cultivate healthy relationships, healing trauma, tending to anxiety, depression and neurodivergence (often late-diagnosed ADHD and/or autism), exploring identity (racial, gender, sexual etc.), grieving a loss, and/or cultivating a stronger sense of self-worth. If you would like to learn more, please contact me. I would be happy to schedule a free, 20-minute consultation call!

I became a therapist after experiencing what it means to carry invisible grief. When my father passed away at 14, no one asked how I was doing, and that silence shaped the path I walk today. As a Latina and neurodivergent therapist, I’m passionate about holding space for LGBTQ+ young adults, athletes, and anyone navigating anxiety, trauma, burnout, or identity fatigue. In our work together, you’ll find a grounded, collaborative space where your story is honored, your feelings are validated, and your healing unfolds at your own pace.

Life is overwhelming. Having someone listen carefully and reflect with you can really help. Your session is time when you don't have to please anyone else, when you can sort through the swirling thoughts and fears to find more calm and trust within yourself. Together, we’ll build on your strengths, explore the roots of your patterns, and create new ways forward. I am experienced in supporting parents, neurodivergence, trauma, the crucial teen years, sexuality and gender identities, relationships, stages of motherhood, and the pressures of being the "panini generation," caring for kids and aging parents simultaneously.

You’re self‑aware and have worked hard in therapy, but the patterns of depression, anxiety, or trauma keep looping. You might feel numb, overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or stuck in relationships that don’t quite shift no matter how much insight you gain. You’re craving something deeper than “coping skills;" a real change in how you feel, relate, and move through the world. You’re curious about ketamine‑assisted therapy because you sense there’s more available to you and you want a therapist who can hold big emotions and complex histories and guide you safely through powerful medicine experiences.

My ideal client navigates the complexities of life within the queer or kink communities, or in nontraditional relationships like polyamory. They might be a parent, like me, raising a non-binary or special needs child, seeking balance and understanding. They need a safe, non-judgmental space to explore their identity and relationships. As a Latina, part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and a therapist with degrees in Psychology and Marriage and Family Therapy, I bring empathy and experience, using modalities like EFT and Gottman to help them thrive and embrace their most authentic selves.

My ideal client is someone who is ready to engage in reclaiming their personal power. Therapy is just as much about unlearning, as it is learning. I enjoy working with folks who have a history of "people pleasing" and who have experienced emotional abuse. In particular I enjoy working with those who have experienced narcissistic abuse, and are looking to come back into contact with feeling grounded in their own reality again.

You're probably trying really hard to keep it together—on the outside, you're functioning, but inside, you feel disconnected, anxious, or stuck in patterns that don’t serve you. You might feel shame about how heavy it all feels, or like your emotions are “too much.” You’re craving the space to be fully seen—without having to mask or explain yourself.

Bisexual Therapists
What is bisexual-affirming therapy?
Bisexual-affirming therapy is a type of mental health support that fully affirms and reflects a client’s bisexual identity. It is rooted in acceptance and does not attempt to change or question an individual’s orientation. In this type of therapy, clients work with a therapist who understands the unique experiences of bisexual people. This support is especially important, as research shows that bisexual individuals face higher rates of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation compared to other groups. Bisexual-affirming therapy acknowledges that bisexual individuals may encounter specific stressors—such as invalidation, relationship challenges, and minority stress—that require specialized understanding and intervention. Many therapists also provide couples therapy for bisexual partners, helping them navigate relationship dynamics, communication challenges, or external stressors that may impact their relationship. While not required, some clients prefer working with bisexual therapists who may bring personal insight to the therapeutic relationship. However, a non-bisexual therapist with strong training and a genuine commitment to affirmation can be equally effective. The most important factor is finding a therapist who understands how identity impacts mental health and can create a space of trust and respect.

What can a bisexual therapist help with?
Bisexual-affirming therapists can provide support across a wide range of concerns relevant to bisexual individuals. Whether through personal or professional experience, they often have specialized knowledge in areas such as the coming out process, navigating stereotypes, and dealing with common stressors. Relationship support is another key area of focus, as bisexual clients may face unique challenge when dating or maintaining relationships across genders. Affirming therapists can also help clients build coping strategies for managing discrimination or stigma. Additionally, many bisexual-affirming therapists can connect clients to other providers or community-based resources—such as bisexual support groups or LGBTQ+ organizations—that offer additional affirming spaces for connection. It's important to note that therapists provide can talk therapy and counseling services but do not prescribe medication—if medication is needed for conditions like depression or anxiety, they will coordinate care with a psychiatrist or primary care physician who can provide psychiatric medication management alongside therapeutic support.

How do I find a bisexual therapist?
The Psychology Today online directory is a helpful tool for finding bisexual-affirming therapists. You can use search filters to identify therapists who specialize in LGBTQ+ care and work specifically with bisexual clients. You can also filter by clinical specialties, therapeutic approaches, accepted insurance, session costs, and languages spoken to find the right fit. During initial consultations or early sessions, ask potential therapists about their specific training in bisexual-affirming care, their experience with LGBTQ+ clients, and their therapeutic approach to identity-related concerns. An effective bisexual-affirming therapist will demonstrate genuine understanding of bisexual experiences, including awareness of the unique challenges facing bisexual individuals. You can also look for credentials or continuing education in areas such as LGBTQ+ mental health, trauma-informed care, and intersectionality.
