Ambetter Therapists in Graham, WA
Maybe the anxiety shows up as a knot in your stomach before every family gathering. Maybe you're the one who holds everything together for everyone else, until you're not. Maybe something happened, recently or years ago, that still shapes how safe you feel in your own life. If stress, family conflict, depression, or the weight of unresolved trauma is making it hard to feel like yourself, you don't have to figure it out alone. I work with adults and families across Washington who are ready to stop just coping and start actually healing, at a pace that respects where you are today.

Navigating a full human experience can feel like both a blessing and an incredible challenge. I know this from over a decade's worth of professional experience in helping people move through the complexities of their personal lives and being a human myself. Over the years, I've worked alongside all age demographics of people from many different backgrounds in addressing trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment, and relational issues, to name a few. Starting therapy is a great step in understanding our humanness and receiving support, understanding, and education on where we can start this journey towards change.

I have more locations including Eatonville, Unalaska, Auburn, Graham, Rainier, I also have an office in Tumwater. Animals can be therapeutic in many ways. Horses have natural empathy and ability to know what we are suffering from. Animals do not have anterior mean motives. Through trauma informed care I help my clients as they learn to use their experiences as strengths. In the more natural environment, a sense of safety can be found allowing for finding our way through emotional pain. Many people believe our bodies need to experience nature and emotional healing to thrive.

You are ready to feel better, to make changes and have hope again. The demands of life can be overwhelming and confusing so therapy should be that place you are heard, validated and accepted for the human you are when you are trying to do the best that you can. We all have times we are insecure, unhappy and wishing it were different. You don’t have to do it alone. I know the relationship with your psychologist is the most critical component to reaching your goals and it helps that I have good sense of humor. Reach out to meet and see if we have a match.

Finding a therapist can be a daunting task. If you're not an expert in clinical language, it can feel like "I'm suffering" isn't a specific enough problem. It's as though you have to know exactly why you're suffering. Are you anxious? Traumatized? Have ADHD? It's a lot to ask, and a lot to answer. And of course, clinical terms can't describe the totality of your human experience. My role, partly, is to help people understand their experiences and why they suffer. That means, essentially, helping you figure out who you are, how you arrived here, and how you've existed in the world so far.

You’ve spent years doing what you were supposed to—working hard, showing up, keeping it together—but inside, you’re tired. Maybe anxiety, shame, or disconnection are catching up. Maybe you’re questioning beliefs that once felt certain. You want to feel safe in your body, your relationships, and your truth—without judgment or pressure to shrink who you are.

Sometimes the closer you are to a problem, the harder it is to see. Unfortunately an inevitability of life is we can’t have all of the answers. As a clinical intern, I see this as an opportunity for us to embark on a journey together to find some solutions. I love working with many different kinds of clients. But I’m passionate about representing communities that don’t have a strong voice in the mental health space. Some of these populations are emergency responders, police officers, firefighters, nurses and many more. Mental health is not something we have to deal with alone; together we can find new ways of being in the world.

You’ve done therapy before, but the same patterns keep showing up in your relationships, work, and inner world. You second-guess yourself, overextend, or withdraw when overwhelmed. Deep down, you want lasting relief not just insight, but real change.
If you’ve experienced trauma or emotional neglect, especially in your family of origin, it can feel like you’re constantly managing invisible triggers. You may look “fine” on the outside, but feel stuck in survival mode. You’re tired of old patterns and ready to feel calm, clear, and connected.

I work best with overthinkers, deep feelers, and those constant “why am I like this?” thoughts, especially LGBTQIA+ teens and young adults who are tired of pretending they have it all figured out.
