I believe that each of us has the inner strength and resources to accomplish our
life
goals.
My approach to counseling is to focus on strengths and help to assist with solutions rather than telling my patients what to do. My focus is to address short-term problems as well as long-term psychological well-being. The more you can tell me about what and how you are feeling, the more effectively I will be able to assist you in resolving your personal problems and issues. I believe all individuals are deserving of acceptance, respect, compassion, and understanding, and all children are capable of success in academics, extracurricular activities, and social interactions.

In my work as a therapist and organizational consultant over the last 35+ years, I have assisted youth, adults, families, and organizations in reducing barriers to and facilitating elements of healthy growth, functioning, and the achievement of goals. I work collaboratively with clients for I don't feel that I'm an expert on someone else
life
. We learn together what will work for you as the therapy progresses and by the work you do in therapy, it is hoped that you will reach the goals that you set for yourself at the very first appointment.

I am passionate about working with individuals and couples. Navigating live's challenges can be really intimidating amidst the stressors of
life
, especially when they all start piling up and ways you used to cope before stop working. Before giving up, try seeking help from a qualified professional and learn new ways of understanding and interacting with your environment. By identifying and working through barriers, new patterns can be learned, and healing experiences can be found. Resources can be gained and emotional resilience can be improved. You can find the harmony you desire within your

life
.
I'm taking new clients. I see adolescents (11+), adults, couples and families. I have in person appointments Monday, Thursday and Friday. I can also meet on Tuesdays for Telehealth. In our sessions, expect to grow, thrive in relationships and learn to healthily navigate
life
circumstances. Working together, we’ll discover that our lived experiences have shaped how we think about the world. Using a trauma and attachment focused lens we use those experiences to encourage healing and growth.

I employ a powerful combination of story work, thought work, and trauma healing through Lifespan Integration therapy to support both individuals and couples in finding peace, new
life
, and flourishing.
If you are tired of struggling, I can help you find a way through. If the wellbeing you know is possible continues to feel out of reach, I can walk with you and support you as we work together to find the root. If your relationship seems to take more energy and happiness than it gives, I can help you, or both of you, find and heal the places in your story that keep showing up in painful ways. My story is also one of loss, pain, and healing. I believe in the work I do and I am not only a therapist for others, but also in therapy myself, on my own healing journey. I believe in being poured into in order to pour well into others.

My own journey has taken me through the peaks and valleys of
life
, and I want to use the perspectives I've gained to help others.
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy that addresses healing through the mind, body and spirit. I am Level 2 trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprograming) and come from a Christian perspective. I trust in the power of connecting deeply to my clients; by creating a safe space for them to be heard and loved can have a ripple effect throughout their healing journey.

I believe, you can embrace yourself and push yourself without having to succumb to society's views of your assigned roles, in your professional
life
, and within your relationships.
I'm experienced working with minority communities including working with women, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ clients. Minority groups, and couples, particularly those at the intersections of gender, race, and sexual orientation, are often underrepresented in fields of work such as business, tech, and entrepreneurship. I believe therapy should be a safe and non-judgmental space that empowers individuals to be able to push their own limits and views of themselves, in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. Being able to embrace oneself and each other is one of the strongest things a person can learn to do.

Even though this therapist here at TFS has credentials that make us eligible to practice in the state of Washington, sometimes one's experiences in
life
speak volumes about a person's character, empathy and outlook in
life
.
As I thought of the mission for Tisino Family Services, I thought of strength's-based. TFS facilitates children, youth, adults, and families back into the arms of what family means. One important goal of TFS is to reduce recidivism and teach preventative steps for sustaintainability. So often, I see individuals dealing with unmitigated trauma, self-identified barriers, and generational disadvantages without coping skills. This mission implements practical skills with persistence that capture the attention of specialized techniques that provides significant breakthroughs of unstable mental health and increase healthy living.

We work as a team to find ways for you to live a
life
worth living for you.
I work with each person through a holistic and integrative lense. Whether I am completing an evaluation or providing therapy, it is not one size fits all. I take a lot of pride when a client tells me, “you’re not like my other therapist.” I’ve heard all sorts of reasons I’m not like others. Most often, I hear appreciation about my ability to validate and push for change at the same time. I provide individual and group therapy; working with older teenage and adult men and women. I also provide evaluation services in various areas, such as behavioral, emotional, personality, cognitive, sexual, and memory domains.

I provide tele therapy for individuals, and couples for CA residents. I do not have a physical office in CA. I also offer treatment for trauma.
In today's world we are all finding that after working full time there isn't enough time to eat right, exercise, take care of errands, help the children with homework, and spend quality time with your significant relationships. What we end up with is exhaustion, feeling "burned out", anxious, and maybe even depressed. You are not alone.
Don't suffer any longer. It's time to address your issues and get your
life
back.

Is anxiety, overwhelm & past trauma making you feel like the walls are caving in? You’ve done everything “right” in
life
, only to realize that hasn’t made
life
any easier. Maybe you are one of those high achievers that succeeds at everything, or a people-pleaser terrified of confrontation. Either way – you feel out of control & ashamed, because - why can’t you figure this mental health stuff out? On top of all this, you are at a time of great transition, change & growth. Learning how to be an adult in a scary & unpredictable world can feel very lonely & sometimes crushing. Especially a world that seems like it’s going off the rails.

transitions are a time to celebrate
life
and an opportunity for great growth. As director of the BLOOM Maternal and Infant Wellness Program, I specialize in supporting women and their families through the transition to parenthood. A unique and often challenging time punctuated with endings and new beginnings. Women and their families need and deserve to be nurtured and supported during this time. My areas of expertise include: The prevention and treatment of pregnancy and postpartum depression and anxiety, promoting healthy parent-child attachment, as well as strengthening and “baby-proofing” relationships.

Does your
life
or relationship need a major overhaul or maybe just a "tune up"? I can help you with either. Having successfully worked with a broad range of client issues from families in transition or conflict, to individuals with severe trauma and depression, I have been exposed to enough that nothing you tell me will shock me. I will not judge you. Often it is our unconscious patterns and
life
stories that influence the way we feel, think and behave. I can help you understand "why" so that you can change and feel better.... or perhaps gain the tools needed to ask someone else to change.

Life Coaching Therapists
What can I expect from life coaching?
Clients and coaches will typically start by identifying the problem area(s) that the client hopes to address—then, the coach will help the client brainstorm potential solutions and explore concrete techniques to help the client attain their goals. Coaching is typically short-term and focused on finding solutions in the here and now, rather than exploring a client’s past. In addition to strategies aimed at the client’s specific concerns, coaches may encourage general stress management techniques such as meditation.
Can a life coach help treat anxiety?
Because the majority of life coaches are not licensed clinicians, they are not qualified to diagnose or treat anxiety. Anyone struggling with anxiety or another mental health condition should seek help from a licensed mental health practitioner. However, some coaching clients who struggle with subclinical anxiety report that working with their coach on other problems—such as career dissatisfaction or unhealthy habits—has a positive effect on their anxiety.
Can life coaching be done online?
Yes. While life coaching often happens in person, many coaches conduct sessions over the phone or via online platforms such as Zoom or Skype. Because life coaches are not subject to local licensing regulations in the same way that therapists are, they are able to see clients who live in other locations.
How long does life coaching last?
Life coaching tends to be a shorter-term process than therapy, though it does not always unfold over a specific period of time and is instead based on the coach’s or the client’s preferences. Coaching often takes place over three to 12 months but may be shorter or longer if necessary.
