I am here to support and encourage you as you journey through your days, facing the joys and trials that come your way. This is sacred ground, and it is both an honor and a privilege to be allowed into the deep, private areas of your life. You will find that this is not something I take lightly but, rather, with humility and deep respect for your courage and willingness to be vulnerable. My desire is to sit with those who are hurting and to walk alongside those who are on a journey towards healing, wholeness, or personal growth.

I'm a family therapist who works with children, teens and parents who want to feel more connected, understood, and confident in their relationships. Whether from social media, friends, or family, we're inundated with opinions and advice on the best parenting strategies, and it can be overwhelming trying to figure out what the best path forward is. I can help you sort out what makes sense for your family so that you can feel grounded in your parenting style and empowered to make choices that align with your values. While I do see children and teens individually, I find that's most effective to have parent involvement as well.

I am accepting new clients.
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples. Individual work is introspective, client-paced, and focused on upgrading aspects of your relationships with yourself, with others and your environment.
Couples work begins with the relationship itself, healthy and productive communication between partners. I use a trauma-informed focus with all my clients. Often the trauma informed perspectives are most useful in relationship work.
Therapy with adolescents usually starts with psycho-education about what’s normal, what’s healthy, and how to navigate or communicate with the environment, parents and peers.

I work with adults and teens navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, anger, chronic stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
Drawing from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I believe we all carry parts of ourselves shaped by past pain; Parts still searching for needs that were never fully met. Together, we gently bring these parts into awareness, exploring their stories and offering them the healing they've been waiting for.

Anger Management Therapists
How long does therapy take for anger management?
Treatment duration depends on the person’s specific challenges and circumstances. There are treatments for anger problems that are shorter and more goal-oriented, like Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), which can last weeks to months. Others, like Dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) may last between six months and a year, while a more intensive treatment, like psychodynamic therapy, is open-ended, and clients may see their therapist for a year or longer.
How do you know if you need therapy for anger management?
Everyone gets mad from time to time. But when angry outbursts become frequent and cause damage to relationships, whether at home or in the office, it may be a good time to look into therapy. A therapist can assess where a client’s anger may be coming from, suggest strategies for averting angry outbursts, and help a client create a plan to become a calmer version of themselves.
Is there medication for anger management?
Medications do exist that help people mitigate the feeling of anger, but these are reserved for people with anger-related psychiatric disorders, such as intermittent explosive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, or in some cases borderline personality disorder. In these cases, antidepressant medications may be prescribed to help with the client’s symptoms. In most cases of anger management, however, talk therapy is the recommended treatment, along with lifestyle changes where relevant.
What’s the best way to encourage someone to seek help for anger issues?
It’s helpful to express your concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual’s behavior affected either themselves or others should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.
