I offer Telemental Health Counseling Services. If you have the internet and a computer or smart phone, we can have video sessions. Perhaps you are feeling that you need to start seeing a counselor, but have had barriers such as: you live in a rural area, have transportation issues, childcare problems, a chronic illness, time constraints, etc. I offer traditional counseling services, but from the comfort of your home or other safe space. I welcome those who have been abused, either by physical abuse, sexual, or emotional/psychological. I am level 3 trained for Gottman Couples Counseling as well as specializing in treating those with PTSD ( not related to military). I have been providing therapy services since 2005 to individuals with a variety of mental health challenges such as depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. The majority of my experience comes from working in community mental health. I specialize in treating individuals with anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder by using a highly effective treatment modality called EMDR, which can take fewer sessions to effect change than traditional therapy.
