I currently am using Sessions platform for remote sessions and provide in-person counseling services at my Bellingham office.
My goal is to create a safe, person-centered space to engender grace: not trying to fix or cure, always moving towards transformation. Working with hospice for the past 17 years has deepened both my understanding and skills towards honoring and helping individuals and families as they move through many life transitions. If you need help with major changes, trauma, loss, grief, adjustment disorders or are exploring existential crisis, I offer a safe space to continue your process.

I offer zooms for teens and up, but I generally prefer to see most child clients in person.
I am primarily an Art Therapist. I love making and processing art with clients from all walks of life. Oftentimes we're carrying pain that isn't ours to carry, or pain that we feel protects us. The art allows us to converse with parts of ourselves we have tucked away in order to protect ourselves. Adult clients who come in, ready to look at themselves and heal pain that has plagued them are a joy to walk alongside in their journey. I am also experienced and greatly enjoy working with children and teenagers who are nursing hurt that needs to be expressed. Kids and teens who have experienced grief and trauma can find safety in art.

I offer therapy sessions in-person, in my cozy office in Burlington, or virtual video appointments.
Are you feeling overwhelmed and anxious about life, wishing you had more mastery over challenging emotions? Do you long for a more meaningful, embodied, and authentic way of living? Or, perhaps, do you feel as if there is something missing from your life? Being human is hard—especially in a fast-paced world that keeps us stuck in our heads and disconnected from our bodies. Together, we can find strategies for reconnecting with the body’s natural wisdom to heal trauma, navigate emotions, and foster lasting growth. I work with motivated adults who are ready to show up weekly, commit to the process, and engage deeply in sessions.

I specialize in working with clients that try to manage life's pain with substances and other addictions. Many of my clients want to simply change their using habits and I work to support them weekly in understanding their intentions, feelings and motivations as they make healthy changes to their relationship with alcohol or other drugs. As we well know, many clients suffering from substance use disorders have a myriad of other issues that drive these compulsive coping mechanisms; I am a certified EMDR therapist and EMDR consultant in training utilizing this knowledge to help resolve underlying concerns related to trauma.

I see clients in person, at my office in Mount Vernon, Tuesdays thru Thursdays.
Are you suffering from Mood Swings? Depression? Brain Fog? I am here to help you explore how your journey through perimenopause and menopause may be impacting your relationships, mental health, and overall wellness. Not everything we experience is a "condition" or to be treated like a disease. Yet at the same time, your voice deserves to be heard and to be given space to process the significant impact that the shift of mid life can have on womanhood. Our physical wellness is so closely tied to our mental wellness and I am here to empower you by providing you with a space to talk about it in a society where no one talks about it.

I see folks mostly in person in my downtown Bellingham office Monday through Thursdays.
Our lives are full of change, and that can feel so scary. And therapy can allow us to make changes while feeling supported and connected. I enjoy working with folks that don’t feel they easily fit in societal constructs. I have experience working with teens to adults to address and support complex trauma, adoption, relationships, body image, chronic illness, and parenting. I enjoy supporting folks in exploring gender and sexuality and I'm supportive of all gender expressions, sexual orientations, and family compilations. I am a queer cis woman and parent and strong advocate for queer and trans rights and body autonomy for all.

I am currently offering in-person as well as telehealth sessions.
The simple fact you are seeking help through therapy is tremendously hopeful. You are half way there! My approach in therapy is to provide a safe, non-judgmental environment to identify what it is you need to create more resolution, meaning and happiness in your life. We will co-create a plan to achieve these broader goals through your daily living, how you relate with others and how you think. Therapy can be a powerful way to transform yourself (and your challenges) into living more fully, and with more in-depth understanding of who you truly are. Email is the best way to reach me.
