As a mental health counselor specializing in women with ADHD, I know that your experience of navigating the world is entirely unique—and often completely exhausting. The standard approaches to ADHD have ignored the specific ways it manifests in females. My practice is dedicated to changing that narrative and providing a space where you feel genuinely seen and understood. In our work together, we will focus on three core pillars tailored to how your brain and body actually function: A Neurodiversity-Affirming Approach, Hormonal Awareness and Masking/Imposter Syndrome. Together, we will transform your exhaustion into empowerment.

Making the changes that can bring greater life satisfaction can feel overwhelming. Having a trusted therapist to share that process can make all the difference. I work to provide a safe, warm and encouraging environment to talk about the things that matter most to you. I like things to move along so that you feel the empowerment of positive changes in your life and feel excited about making the next step, and then the next... until you possess the tools you need to continue successfully on the path you have set.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We all face seasons of hardship, loss of career or loved ones, divorce, parenting struggles, trauma, or broken relationships, that can leave us weary and searching for hope. As a Christian counselor, I believe God’s promises bring light even in dark times. I walk with clients as they heal from abuse, rebuild confidence, and rediscover their identity in Christ. Others seek support in managing stress, improving relationships, and creating a life filled with peace, purpose, and hope.

Creating a safe space for individuals to thrive, grow, and find courage to tell their story, is what I believe my role to be as a counselor. Often times we run from our pain and avoid facing what has been hurting us all these years. It is my belief that counseling provides a neutral and compassionate environment to process through this pain, and finally discover the relief we have been looking for. My hope as your counselor is to help you develop a deeper awareness and personal insight so that you may live a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Hello friend. I believe healing begins when we feel truly seen, understood, and supported. We carry stories, experiences, and wounds that shape how we see ourselves and move through the world. Sometimes those experiences show up as anxiety, perfectionism, overwhelm, grief, or feeling disconnected from ourselves and the people we care about. As a therapist, my goal is to create a space where you don't have to carry those burdens alone. Together, we'll explore your experiences with compassion and curiosity, honoring the ways your mind and body have worked to protect you while discovering new ways to move toward healing and connection.

We are a group of dynamic therapists, in multiple Washington state locations. Our goal was to create a place for you to settle in and tell your story. Everybody has one, and we want to hear yours. Counseling is a process that encourages you to examine your choices, your thoughts, your dreams, your barriers and your pain in an effort to create the positive change you are seeking in your life. We believe that successful counseling is a collaborative experience between you and your therapist; that finding the right fit is vital to that success.

Life is not like a box of chocolates. Life is like a roller coaster with ups and downs, highs and lows, successes and failures. Therapy is about navigating through it. Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse and Early Childhood Traumas interfere with everyday functioning and cause us to make decisions that do not serve us well. At one point, most of our unhealthy coping tools were survival skills. They were beneficial and warranted at the time but now interfere with creating a life worth living. It's time to challenge those outdated coping tools with more useful, practical and efficient ones.

I work with women who put a lot of pressure on themselves and feel overwhelmed by motherhood, life transitions, and the constant pull to “hold it all together.” You might feel exhausted, anxious, irritable, or stuck in patterns like emotional eating or notice yourself snapping at the people you love. My goal is to offer a safe space where you can say what you can’t say out loud - without guilt or shame - and start to make sense of what you’re carrying. I specialize in perinatal mental health and women’s emotional health, including postpartum, the emotional impact of motherhood, perimenopause, and other major life transitions.

As a counselor, my role is to create a safe environment where you can feel secure and supported. My style is respectful, warm and interactive. I value a strong therapeutic alliance as a basis for personal and behavioral change and emotional growth. When working with teens, I find collaborating with caregivers to be most effective in fostering growth and positive change. I also find it essential working with adolescents to build a strong rapport as a foundation to further enhance the therapeutic process.

Women's Issues Therapists
How do you encourage a woman to go to therapy?
It’s helpful to express concern and love for the person while framing therapy as a tool for improving their life. Offering specific examples of how an individual may be suffering, and what effects it has on them, should be done with compassion and with empathy. It may be useful to devise a game plan—breaking the process down into parts, such as finding a therapist, making appointments, and looking into insurance coverage.

How can women prepare for therapy?
Women can prepare for therapy by being willing to talk about their past experiences and their private thoughts. Before a session, an individual may want to reflect on how they’ve felt since the last session and what’s happened in their lives. Between sessions, it can be useful to write down notes about their reaction to a given event or how they felt at a particular time.

How long does therapy for women’s issues often last?
As with any type of therapy, sessions depend on the individual and the challenges they face. Therapy types like Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), Prolonged exposure therapy (PET), and Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) can be brief, most often ranging from between 5 and 20 sessions. In some cases, such as for women with eating disorders, residential treatment may be recommended for an individual who is judged to be at high risk of self-harm. For any therapy, the duration will depend on the progress made and results realized.

How can women overcome stigma around specific challenges in order to seek therapy?
Women dealing with domestic abuse, sexual assault, eating disorders, and any other number of troubles may feel a stigma around seeking help. It’s important to remember that these issues are not uncommon and there is no shame in getting help for them. Therapy is confidential, and women can talk about their experiences without fear of judgment. Seeking therapy can be a courageous and liberating act, and an important step toward healing and recovery.
