Hi, welcome. I’m Rachel (they/them)! I believe human suffering wells up from a myriad of different sources. It is human nature to suffer, but what we do with it creates our life path. A major factor that may heighten your deep sense of pain is the lack of someone willing to be present in your pain and listen to your story. People innately desire to be seen and have their stories witnessed. Unfortunately many in society fear this intimate act of witnessing, leaving many to experience the void and pain of isolation in addition to their core suffering. One of the first and greatest steps toward healing is to have stories witnessed.

Ultimately, my goal in therapy is for it to be a positive experience for you. To help this happen I strive to be warm, accepting, non-judgmental, and compassionate towards your needs to help you heal. Insurance providers require a diagnosis, but I feel clients should not be defined by their diagnosis. Working together I strive to be a guide helping you, rather than the leading you in life. Counseling should be a place where you feel heard and comfortable expressing yourself.

The journeys that we take in this life inevitably can lead us to joy, success, happiness, and fulfillment. However, at times, they can also lead us to pain, failure, depression, and emptiness. Hello! I am Rachel, an individual and family therapist and licensed independent clinical social worker. I work with teens and adults, offering both individual and family therapy. I specialize in working with clients who have anxiety, panic attacks, ADHD, autism, and depression. I also support clients experiencing phobias, OCD, grief/loss, and trauma. I partner with clients seeking to strengthen their stress/coping skills, relationships, communication skills, boundaries/self-care, and esteem/self-acceptance. I welcome LGBTQ+ identifying clients. I specialize in serving Outliers such as trailblazers, visionaries, storytellers, entrepreneurs, and those courageously paving the way for others. Beginning therapy is a tremendous act of self-love, so it's essential to have the right therapeutic companion by your side. My passion is supporting emerging adults and professionals as they navigate transitions or want a kinder relationship with themselves.

Mark’s first love has always been in practice with family and individual counseling. After managing, he decided to enter into private practice, currently with the Mindful Therapy Group. Mark provides individual, couples, family and group psychotherapy services to people with a variety of mental and emotional difficulties including depression, anxiety, attention deficit, multiple personality, anti-social and other personality issues. Mark has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from different backgrounds, cultures, and unique circumstances.
