I offer in-person and online therapy sessions, including group therapy, on weekdays and some evenings.
Are you and those you love hurting because of your struggles? Do you feel helpless to make changes? Are you trying to love the person who’s struggling while drowning in your own betrayal and trauma? I know how difficult it can be to find someone who understands what you are going through. I base my approach to therapy on the empathy I’ve gained through my own recovery story, including faith crisis and reconstruction, as well as helping hundreds of individuals/couples deal with challenges like sexual addiction/compulsivity. People leave my office feeling empowered with new knowledge and skills that will help them move forward.

Sometimes things happen in our lives that we can't seem to get over, no matter how much we try. This really affects the quality of life, and is called trauma. I specialize in treating trauma and grief issues using EMDR therapy. I am trained to treat PTSD, complex PTSD, and dissociation. My second specialization is as a trained grief counselor. I can help you get out of your head and back into your life. My clients are motivated, willing to try new things, and they want to feel better. I've helped hundreds of others meet these goals, and I can help you. Clients who take that first step to come see me get results. Let's get started!

I see clients ages 0-25 in person or online.
Being either a youth or a parent is hard work at the best of times. Then there are the challenging days: the days both youth and their parents don't feel like they are good enough, everything feels scarier than it used to feel, and they can't seem to find their joy. During the hard times, it is easy to forget that you have strengths that have gotten you through the tough patches, and they can get you through them again. Having someone who can value your uniqueness and partner with you when brainstorming and implementing solutions can be both affirming and healing.

You know that Wilson Phillips line—“Hold on for one more day”? Yeah. You’ve been doing that. For a long time. You’re insightful, self-aware, and honestly, kind of tired. You’ve worked hard to hold it all together, but deep down, you know it’s time to do more than just survive. You’re ready to understand the patterns, shift them, and move forward. I work with people who are ready to go deep. Not for surface-level fixes, but for real change. We’ll look at how you’ve learned to stay safe—how old experiences shaped your habits, your relationships, and your beliefs about yourself.

A central focus of my theory and practice is to help my patients recover a sense of freedom and choice in relationship to others and to the self. Being able to live fully, in spite of your circumstances, is possible. The work we do together will be to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences to discover what kind of life you wish to have, and what has prevented you from living fully, whether it be unrecovered/unresolved loss, trauma, or wounds that won't heal.

I am offering both telehealth and in person appointments which follow current state guidelines.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. Having had experience working with trauma, I often work with those that find past issues are affecting them and their relationships in the present. I also have experience working with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, life transition issues, chronic pain and health issues, as well as many other concerns. One of my main goals in our initial sessions is to grasp an understanding of your individual identity from an empathic and non-judgmental perspective; it is important in all of our sessions that you feel heard and that your opinion is valued.
