I enjoy working with individuals, couples and families. Having had experience working with trauma, I often work with those that find past issues are affecting them and their relationships in the present. I also have experience working with mood disorders such as anxiety and depression, life transition issues, chronic pain and health issues, as well as many other concerns. One of my main goals in our initial sessions is to grasp an understanding of your individual identity from an empathic and non-judgmental perspective; it is important in all of our sessions that you feel heard and that your opinion is valued.
Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples provides clients with better understanding of their relationship and provides a deeper attachment where couples can be more engaged, accessible, and responsive to each other. This method has been shown to help couples heal, with a 90% improvement rate.
I work in an office with two medical doctors and have been working to bridge the gap between mental and physical health; to improve a person's overall health. Currently have a waiting list for new clients.
