I currently work with adult and some adolescent clients during the evening hours of the week. I provide a forum for my clients to feel truly heard, and make clear, well-informed decisions in support of committed change towards wellness and recovery.
I am particularly focused on the stories clients tell themselves about their limitations, and then help them to revise and retell those stories with an emphasis on opportunity and personal meaning. My experience and training with substance abuse, LGBT issues, DBT, EMDR, and TF-CBT modalities seems to be successful with many clients.
