Childless-Not-By-Choice (process group)
You have come to recognize that you are not going to have the child you had envisioned in your dreams. Now what? Accepting and grieving this loss is unique. Its magnitude is typically misunderstood, invisible, or minimized. You are left feeling out-of-place, with the task of having to explain yourself and to create a meaningful and purposeful life--without models or social supports regarding how to do so. No matter what stage in the process of being involuntarily childless you are in, sharing with others who have similar grief and choices ahead can be helpful, comforting, and reassuring.
