I specialize in complex trauma, sexual trauma, performing artist mental health, and somatic therapy. I work with adults identifying as creatives, healers, and highly sensitive people. I also work well with individuals carrying childhood trauma connected to sexual orientation, religion, and/or ethnicity- the kind that doesn’t just affect how you feel, but how you attach, trust, and show up in your world. I’ll work with you to face the painful memories holding you hostage and responses that feel out of your control. Together we work to help you feel liberated, more authentically you, and empowered with access to your own creativity.

Sometimes life brings challenges that weigh heavily on us, testing our patience and inner strength. Approaching these moments with self-compassion, along with a supportive mindset and perspective, can help us navigate them with greater stability and grounding.

You may be carrying more than your own pain. Old family roles, cultural messages, trauma, and systems of control can shape how you see yourself, relate to others, and move through the world. You may feel exhausted from overgiving, people-pleasing, self-doubt, guilt, or trying to become who others needed you to be. My ideal clients are adults who are ready to step outside the box, shed old identities, reclaim their voice, and understand the deeper roots of their patterns. Healing is not about becoming someone new, but integrating all parts of yourself and living with greater authenticity, freedom, and self-trust.

I specialize in recovery from narcissistic abuse, coercive control, bullying, and other toxic relationship dynamics.
Many of my clients come to therapy feeling confused, depleted, and disconnected from their own judgment. They may have spent years in relationships, families, or workplaces where their reality was questioned, their boundaries were ignored, or they were blamed for problems they did not create. Over time, they begin to doubt themselves and lose confidence in what they know to be true. My work helps people understand the dynamics underneath these experiences, reclaim trust in their own perceptions, and move forward with greater clarity, self-respect, and emotional freedom.

You may be someone who feels overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in patterns that don’t make sense, even after trying to change them. At times you may feel emotionally reactive, disconnected, or unable to make decisions. In other moments, you may feel very little, while your body carries the burden through anxiety, insomnia, or physical symptoms. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful and capable, yet struggle with something that feels difficult to name or understand.

Domestic Abuse Therapists
What are the most effective ways to recover from domestic abuse?
Leaving an abusive relationship requires tremendous courage, so survivors in treatment should recognize that they have already completed the most important step. Still, the trauma of physical or emotional abuse can be difficult to process and overcome. Therapy can help survivors process trauma, grief, and difficult emotions, treat relevant mental health symptoms, and create a new framework for boundaries and relationships in the future. For some, support groups can also be an invaluable outlet for healing.
When should an individual seek help for domestic abuse?
Victims of intimate partner violence should seek help immediately. It can take substantial time, planning, energy, and courage to leave an abusive relationship, but starting the process—by seeking therapy, calling the domestic violence hotline, or simply confiding in a loved one—will help them get there. Those who have left abusive relationships but haven’t sought treatment can also greatly benefit from therapy to process and heal from the experience.
What are the consequences of staying in an abusive relationship?
Remaining in an abusive relationship has serious repercussions. In addition to the ongoing threat of physical danger and emotional abuse, research shows that intimate partner violence is associated with a range of mental health disorders including depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, and substance abuse. Therefore it’s important for individuals in an abusive relationship to seek help as soon as possible.
How can you get domestic abuse treatment for someone else?
It can be very complicated to identify and leave an abusive relationship; barriers include the threat of violence, financial instability, and family pressures. Those concerned about a loved one in an abusive relationship should talk to them about the situation, provide them with resources such as the domestic violence hotline, and introduce the idea of seeing a therapist due to their concern for the person’s safety and well-being.
