My approach is strengths based and trauma informed. I believe we all have an innate drive to be well. My practice is influenced by polyvagal theory, focusing on the role of the autonomic nervous system on our brain and body and how that impacts our emotions and behaviors. I use education to help people make sense of their experiences and regulation strategies to restore a sense of safety. I find this to help remove barriers that can keep us stuck in states of anxiety, depression, relationship problems and more. Please visit my website for more information.

I am passionate about helping people grow. I work with a variety of ages. I find family therapy to be very valuable work andI believe that people can grow throughout their lives. If you are a parent struggling with a teen, or an adult struggling in relationships, I believe that psychotherapy can help. Nature centered psychotherapy uses research based approaches to help people develop healthy coping skills, recover from trauma, and to develop a deeper connection to themselves. Sessions take place outdoors in a natural setting drawing from principles of Ecotherapy.

My approach to counseling is largely based on the therapeutic connection between an individual and their therapist, as this is one of the best predictors of progress and improvement over the course of therapy. I use strengths-based and relational methods to connect with individuals and support them in making changes to their lives. Clients can expect validation, respect, safety, and empathy when working with me.

** UNFORTUNATELY I AM NOT ABLE TO ACCEPT NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME ** I believe that all people have innate potential for growth and change. This belief is the cornerstone of my practice and my commitment to you is to use that conviction to inform our work together. I have experience working with individuals experiencing life transitions, anxiety, depression, PTSD and other effects of trauma, grief and loss, aging, and parenting and relationship challenges. I also have extensive experience working with individuals diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorders and/or intellectual disabilities and their families.
