I have also been trained in cognitive behavior therapy, trauma focused-CBT, dialectical behavior therapy, and I regularly use SMART goal setting.
I know how difficult it can be to take this first step. As a clinician my goal is to give you the space to explore who you are, what is not serving you in your life, hold on to what is still serving you, and get to where you want to be through integrating new learning through the process. As a clinician I understand that navigating the many systems of our society brings numerous challenges for youth, adolescents, and families. I practice with a person centered approach grounded in intersectional feminism with a transformative and non-binary lens.

Being a human is hard in today's world. Between climate catastrophes, wars, financial crises, and social inequalities, the injunction to live your highest purpose and be happy – while being in relationship, raise a family, and/or live in community – sets a high barre. Perhaps, therapy that explores more corners of your life – from personal to ancestral, physical to spiritual, cultural to systemic – can offer you something different. Please reach out!
If you are a parent looking for a child therapist, you've also come to the right place. I include parents in every step of their child's journey. I look forward to hearing from you.

We live in an incredibly fast paced world, focused on capitalistic systems that value productivity, individuality, and a quest for materialism. This often leads to exhaustion, challenges in our relationships, and a disconnect from caring for ourselves. My goal is to provide a compassionate setting to explore your experiences that may be contributing to internal distress and disconnection, focusing on you as the expert.

Therapy produces its own unique ecosystem. In the right collaboration, essential growth-oriented risks can be taken. Various tools developed for emotional survival in formative years can later present as automatic interpersonal response patterns, which operate instinctually long after the initial benefits have ceased. Left unexamined, this can pose limitations on the quality of one's life in a social-relational context. Sustainable transformation can be expected from therapy comprised of honest self-reflection and an active investment in the process over time.
