I specialize in helping children and teens work through issues such as anxiety, ADHD, autism, depression, and OCD. My group therapy topics include executive skills coaching, social skills building, boundary setting, and cultural identity development. Whether your child struggles with school avoidance, paying attention, handling change, or a negative self-image, I am here to support you and your family in your child's journey toward mental and emotional wellbeing.
My primary apprach is cognitive behavioral therapy. I also draw from acceptance and commitment therapy, internal family systems, and play therapy. My social work background has taught me to appreciate the many systems which impact our everyday lives. I enjoy collaborating with parents and schools to support children to thrive in all areas of their lives.
It is my passion to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment for children to learn to view themselves as the amazing, resilient children their parents see them as. It takes a village to raise a child, and one of my greatest joys and privileges has been to work alongside parents in witnessing the incredible growth that children are capable of.
