I'm a therapist based in Lakewood, Colorado, and I’m deeply passionate about helping people find greater freedom in their lives. I draw on somatic, psychodynamic, parts-work, and mindfulness-based approaches to assist my clients in processing challenging emotions and uncovering new ways of being. In working with couples, I follow the evidence-based Gottman Method. My therapy style is holistic, embodied, trauma-informed, and is tailored to the unique needs and challenges of the individual.
I bring specialized, ongoing training in Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprogramming (EMDR), a highly effective method for healing PTSD and trauma that rewires challenging memories and the negative beliefs that no longer serve us.
I am also a certified BioDynamic Breathwork & Trauma Release System (BBTRS) practitioner and integrate this approach into my practice. This powerful somatic modality supports the unlocking of physical and emotional tension in the body and can be an instrumental tool in working through anxiety, grief, and pain, among other experiences.
