About
My master's degree in Transpersonal Psychology-Art Therapy combines the strengths of eastern and western psychology. With 10 years’ experience in mental health, and 16 years in public education, I have worked in a wide range of settings: Inpatient treatment centers, School-based programs, Outpatient and outreach services. I have served children, young adults, and their families with issues of trauma, abuse, addiction, neurodiversity, ADHD, PTSD, gang involvement, and emerging sexuality issues. As an educator, I created an integrated STEAM arts curriculum to strengthen emotional intelligence, coping skills, and community engagement.
In my practice, art therapy is an interactive, client-centered process that helps you/your child understand your feelings, thoughts, and actions. Individual therapy ($75-120) and group therapy($35-45) are available on a sliding scale.
I will treat with great care all the information you share with me. I offer a safe space for you/your child regardless of age, sex/gender, sexual orientation, marital or family status, race, color, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, place of residence, veteran status, physical disability, health status, country of origin, socio-economic background. Thank you.
