We all inevitably encounter life stressors and challenges that leave us feeling stuck, anxious, ashamed or depressed. The process of therapy allows us to slow down, explore our difficult feelings and gain awareness into how we may or may not be serving ourselves. It is a process that facilities growth and empowerment, as well as a space where we can celebrate and honor the wonderful things in our lives.
I am a relationally oriented therapist with training in gestalt therapy and crisis intervention. My approach is warm, holistic and utilizes experiential exercises, inner child/parts work, mindfulness and humor. I believe that you know yourself best and that my role is to help you integrate all parts of yourself, so that you can become more whole.
I am a native New Yorker with a strong appreciation for cultural diversity. I have a particular interest in working with artists and first and second generation immigrants.
