I am currently studying EMDR and Narcissistic Abuse Treatment methods.
Are you experiencing lies, abuse, and disrespect in your home or family or even at work? The early promises of life might now seem illusory, and you feel trapped under a mountain of shame, regret, anger, self-recrimination, and confusion. You're paralyzed by not knowing what to do, or perhaps, how to do it. You imagine your desired freedom or empowerment will negatively affect those you love. It's as if you are a fading shadow of who you once thought yourself to be and fear that someday, your shadow will be blotted out entirely. Your children, relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers have no idea of your desperation.

Recovering from the exhausting cycle of narcissistic abuse, difficult relationship dynamics, or old family wounds can leave you feeling completely disconnected from who you actually are.
In our work together, I provide a warm, deeply supportive, and culturally responsive environment where you don’t have to perform or hold it all together. Because every person's story is entirely unique, I blend a variety of evidence-based approaches to match exactly what you need to feel grounded, validated, and heard.

Are you struggling with past trauma that keeps resurfacing and affects your relationships, sense of self, or even your physical well-being? Do you feel stuck, frustrated, or like you should be “over it by now”, no matter how much you tell yourself to just move on? Do you wonder if healing is even possible, or if it’s something you have to face alone?
Now more than ever, people with trauma are feeling overwhelmed and uncertain, because trauma changes the brain and body in ways that make recovery feel impossible without support. It’s not about lacking willpower. It’s about having the right guidance, tools, and support to truly heal.

Sports psychology (equestrian sports in particular), infertility, anxiety, narcissistic abuse recovery, trauma, and executive or entrepreneur coaching are special interests.
Are you in an unhealthy relationship? Is it hard for you to set boundaries? Do you have difficulty making decisions? Doubting yourself or feeling like an imposter can make tough times (and decisions) even tougher. I can help you explore and develop a greater understanding and appreciation of your authentic self. Our bodies do keep the score, so it’s vital to connect mind and body. Unprocessed trauma can block that connection. Once our nervous system is regulated, everything seems to fall into place: Anxiety decreases, as does pain perception, while resilience is strengthened and cognitive and creative capabilities are enhanced.

My ideal clients are growth-oriented adults who are starting to connect the dots between how they grew up and how they show up now. They're often navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, or a persistent sense that something is off, and they're beginning to suspect the roots go deeper than right now.
Many of them have always been the responsible one, the peacekeeper, the one who knew how to read the room. They're self-aware and motivated, and not looking for someone to just validate them. They want to actually understand themselves and make real changes.

Narcissistic Personality (NPD) Therapists
What type of therapy is best for narcissistic personality disorder?
Narcissistic personality disorder (NPD) is best treated with talk therapy, which could involve cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, schema therapy, gestalt therapy, or similar approaches. A therapist will help a patient uncover the feelings that may drive their behavior and discover how to engage with themselves and those around them with greater empathy and understanding, fewer demands, and less defensiveness, with the goal of developing a more authentic sense of self that enables healthier relationships.
How do therapists treat NPD?
By developing a strong therapeutic relationship, and continually focusing patients on relationships, community, and connection, a therapist, through talk therapy, may be able to help someone with NPD change. In sessions, a therapist will help an individual achieve relief from their current stressors, including the treatment of co-occurring conditions such as anxiety or depression. A therapist may also help an individual to recognize unhealthy coping mechanisms, learn new ways of interacting with others, and eventually become able to feel and display empathy.
Can a narcissist be cured with therapy?
Therapy can be effective. After a serious setback or great loss, someone with NPD may be forced to recognize that they are not immune to life’s challenges. That can spur feelings of melancholy and depression that lead them to seek professional help. Once an individual decides to seek help, they have already taken a step that the majority of those with NPD never will. Still, people with NPD often quit therapy as they naturally resist feeling vulnerable, being challenged, or admitting to flaws.
How can you get narcissistic personality disorder treatment for someone?
It is notoriously difficult to convince someone with NPD to seek help. With their feelings of superiority, they may be unlikely to recognize or acknowledge that they have a problem, or that their problem is narcissism. Sometimes, they are aware that they are arrogant and that others resent them but they don’t see it as a problem because they are convinced of their superiority. People with NPD have trouble maintaining relationships, but family members and others who do feel close to them, and whose presence they value, may be able to encourage them to seek therapy.
