I am currently accepting new clients (Updated: 1/11/2023) The ideal client is the one that comes as they are. There's often a pressure people feel to have their struggles neatly wrapped and ready to talk about when initiating therapy. However, therapy can be the perfect place to start that process to form a better understanding of the issues, the needs, and ultimately your own goals.

Noting on my own life I have come to terms with the fact that all individuals are unique in their experiences, how they perceive these experiences, and to their reactions and responses to these experiences. Recognizing worldviews are intricately individualistic, I feel that counseling should be just as unique and aligned to the individual client and their specific needs. I actively seek to meet my clients where they are and through collaboration provide assistance and guidance that aligns to their values, beliefs, and personal functioning with realistic goals that focus on the clients idea of what the best version of themselves is.

You may be facing a range of challenges, from navigating life transitions and relationship issues to managing anxiety or seeking personal growth. I am particularly passionate in providing a safe and nurturing space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions, and experiences without judgment or retraumatization. My professional background as an Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapist and assistant preschool teacher equips me with a deep understanding of child development and effective communication with children and families. This knowledge can be invaluable for clients with children or family-related challenges.

I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with 15 years of experience in behavioral healthcare. I see adults (18+) with anxiety, depression, ADHD, and trauma related disorders. I have collaborated with clients to adjust to life transitions, improve personal relationships, grieve the loss of loved ones, build a more robust social life, manage workplace stressors, build self-esteem, recover from trauma, and achieve a higher quality of life.

Mae believes the involvement of family in sessions is a great asset to her work. Parents will be involved in the progress of their young children and develop skills to utilize in their day to day interactions.

I enjoy working with clients ages 4+. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, familial conflict, intergenerational trauma, inner child work, school related issues, neurocognitive disorders, and neurodiversity/disability work. I might be a good fit for your child if they are experiencing anxiety, have experienced trauma, or are struggling with school, relationships, or familial changes. I have 5 years of experience working in the school system and understand the challenges of parenting a high needs child. I might be a good fit for you if you are experiencing anxiety/trauma/burnout, familial conflict, or need support as a parent.

I help women through trying to conceive, infertility issues, grief and loss, adoption, pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond. Becoming a mother does not always go as expected, and parenting little humans can bring up a lot of big feelings. I am certified in perinatal mental health with specific training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, like postpartum (PP) depression, PP anxiety and PP OCD. I understand the unique experience of taking on this new role while still trying to maintain your own identity. I am here to support you throughout your journey of becoming a parent so that you can be the best version of yourself possible.

Everyone should have a comfortable place and be a judgment-free zone to feel free to talk. I hope I can provide you with that level of comfort to engage in services. Just about everything in this new world we live in has been stressful for everyone in some way, even children. I'm here to help guide your family members or you through the path you need.

SHORT-TERM ENDURING THERAPY: If you have trauma, guilt & shame, substance abuse, physical pain, or insomnia, I want you living in the moment, happy, and connected with others. My holistic approach gives fast relief with humor, storytelling, hypnotherapy, memory reconsolidation, and Rapid Resolution Therapy.

My work with adults includes those with a trauma history, depression, anxiety, grief, relational issues, somatic symptoms with no medical explanation, feeling stuck or sensing that something is just “not right”, as well as healthcare providers & other first responders who have experienced increased stress during the COVID crisis. My experience with children includes those with a trauma history, adoption, depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, divorce, school refusal, low self-esteem, difficult peer & family relationships, immigration, & cross-cultural adjustments.

Accepting couples only. Some emotions can be too complex to process alone. Distress can develop from daily life, when navigating relationships, and possibly as a result from unacknowledged childhood experiences that resurface. I help foster awareness of your own needs through reflective exercises, mindfulness, skill acquisition, and combating cognitive distortions. I believe that we all hold the answers within ourselves to what causes us distress, but the challenge may be discovering them. Counseling is a partnership and my role is to guide individuals towards reaching their mental health goals and strengthening their relationships.
