I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with 20 years of experience providing treatment for both male and female adolescents. I specialize in treating anger management, depression, anxiety, and stress management. I understand the importance of gaining my clients' trust through confidentiality, empathy, and understanding. I completed my Bachelor of Arts (BA) at the New School University in New York and earned my Master of Science (MS) with a specialization in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.
I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness, which includes stress reduction through breathing techniques. Having experienced the loss of significant family members myself, I provide supportive guidance through the process of grief and mourning.
Incorporating my clients' interests—such as journaling, music, poetry, art, books, and movies—into their treatment is something I enjoy, as it allows me to help them identify their strengths and build upon them. I look forward to getting to know my clients and helping them develop the skills needed to enhance their sense of well-being.
